Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) is a model of enlightenment and confronting the distortion of the truth
Ardestan- Ardestan temporary imam, emphasizing the role of Hazrat Zainab Kabri (PBUH) in explaining the truth of the Ashura incident, said: awareness and correct narration play an important role in countering the distortion of facts.
Hojjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Rezaei, in a conversation with Mehr reporter, while congratulating the birthday of Hazrat Zainab Kabri (PBUH) and Nurse's Day, appreciated the efforts of nurses and people who take care of patients in the family environment and stated: Nursing is one of the valuable human and religious services for which a great spiritual reward is considered in Islamic teachings.
He added: In Islamic narrations, special rewards and rewards have been mentioned for people who strive to meet the needs of patients. This virtue is not only reserved for nurses who work professionally in medical centers, but people who take care of their family members during illness will also enjoy this reward.
Referring to the efforts of the martyrs' families in taking care of their family members, the temporary imam of Ardestan noted: People who take care of their spouses or other family members during illness are examples of sacrifice and their services and efforts should be appreciated.
Rezaei also pointed to the high position of Hazrat Zainab al-Kabri (pbuh) in the history of Islam and stated: Having outstanding scientific, spiritual and moral qualities, Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) has earned titles such as Aqeela Bani Hashem and Ulama Ghir al-Malama, and her role in preserving and transmitting the message of the Ashura movement is a lasting and decisive role.
He stated: The Ashura event was a great epic on the battlefield, but the mission of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) began after the battle ended. By being present in the field of awareness raising and storytelling, they did not allow the enemies to distort the truth of this event and present their apparent victory as a sign of righteousness.
Ardestan's temporary imam continued: After the Ashura incident, the Umayyad regime tried to use its political and military position to present a different picture of the events of Karbala to the people and present itself as the victor of the field, but the sermons and enlightening words of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) faced a serious challenge to this narrative.
Rezaei added: Against Yazid's claims, by referring to the verses of the Holy Quran and stating the truth, Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) showed that having power and apparent victory does not necessarily mean righteousness; With their clear positions, they did not allow the message of Ashura to be forgotten in the propaganda atmosphere of the government of that time.
Referring to the importance of Hazrat Zainab's (pbuh) sermon in the Yazid Assembly, he noted: His words not only questioned the claims of the Umayyad government, but also provided the basis for people's awareness of the truth of the Karbala incident and caused the message of Imam Hussain's (pbuh) movement to remain in history.
Ardestan Interim Imam Juma'a emphasized the continuation of the war of narratives in contemporary developments and stated: The military war may reach its peak or end in a certain period of time, but the war of narratives can continue for a long time. Therefore, what is said about an event and how to convey the facts to public opinion is of particular importance.
Rezaei added: In the recent developments, the involved parties try to convey their desired narrative of the results of the conflicts to the public opinion and present an image of victory by highlighting their achievements. Therefore, in order to know the facts, claims must be separated from evidence and evaluable results.
Referring to some comments about the Turkmanchai Treaty and the ceding of parts of Iran during the Qajar period, he clarified: the examination of historical experiences should be done according to the political, military and social conditions of that period, and the bitter experiences of the past should not be used to justify any retreat in the current situation.
Ardestan Interim Imam Juma continued: In the analysis of historical events, it should be determined with what goals the decisions were made and what consequences they had for the country. It is also necessary to differentiate between protecting national interests and justifying concessions.
Referring to the viewpoints that consider political or military withdrawal as a way to prevent war, Rezaei noted: Decisions about the country's important issues should be made considering the set of conditions and possible consequences, and this issue requires a careful examination of national interests and the effects of each decision.
He stated: In the context of the discussion about withdrawal, issues such as the handing over of strategic facilities or the three Iranian islands need attention to the consequences of such decisions. Because in issues related to territorial integrity and national interests, the various dimensions of each proposal must be carefully examined.
Criticizing what he calls weakness-based narration of the country's capabilities, Ardestan Interim Imam Jumeh said: In addition to the critical review of decisions and performances, it is necessary to correctly express existing capabilities and realities, and the presented narrative of developments should be consistent with reliable evidence and information.
Rezaei added: Commenting on the performance of the military forces and attributing the consequences of developments to their actions should also be based on a careful examination of the facts. Because the incomplete or one-sided narration of the events can affect the public understanding of the country's conditions.
Referring to the presence of people in social and political scenes, he said: Iranian people have shown with their continuous presence in the past months that they are following the developments of the country and are not indifferent to the events. Therefore, it should not be assumed that the proposal of different views or critical narratives will be accepted by the society without examination and analysis.
