Esteghlal Head Coach Praises Players' Efforts in Tough Conditions After Valuable Win Over Al-Gharafa.

Esteghlal head coach praised the efforts of his players in the difficult conditions of this match after the valuable victory against Al-Gharafa.

According to ambassador Arjan; Sohrab Bakhtiarizadeh appeared in a press conference after Esteghlal's 2-1 victory over Qatar's Al Gharafa and talked about the performance of his players, the positions of the two teams and the problems they faced during the match.

Bakhtiarizadeh said at the beginning of his speech: "I am very happy that we won the game, both because of the three points and because of the efforts of our players, which was really commendable. I send greetings to each and every one of them."

"With respect to the opposing team, we could have scored more goals," he said. "Of course, they had one or two good chances, and our defense made sacrifices and our goalkeeper was excellent."

He continued: "I think two issues pressured us even more than the opponent team. One was the bad weather conditions, and the other was two untimely injuries of our players, which forced us to make two forced substitutions and our hands were tighter than before.

Esteghlal head coach added: "I thank God that we have a united team. Our players are truly outstanding and work in difficult conditions to make the fans and all of us proud. We congratulate Esteghlal Club and our good fans on this victory."
