The head of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Kermanshah announced the holding of a specialized workshop on the export of handicrafts to the Iraqi market in Kermanshah and emphasized: Empowering artists to enter international markets and earn foreign currency is the main priority of this General Directorate.
According to the report of Aria's Heritage reporter, Kiyomarth Azami said on Tuesday, October 21, that a specialized workshop on the export of handicrafts to the Iraqi market was held in Kermanshah, and emphasized that empowering artists to enter international markets and earn foreign currency is the main priority of this general administration.
The head of Kermanshah's General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts added: Considering the great potential of the neighborhood and the existing demand in the country of Iraq, it is necessary for Kermanshah handicraft artists to familiarize themselves with the new methods of foreign trade so that they can offer their products in a systematic and profitable way.
He added: In this training workshop, an attempt has been made to respond to the concerns of the artisans in a fully operational manner. Getting to know the target customers in Iraq, choosing products with high sales potential, product introduction methods, how to package according to the taste of the destination market, and commercial negotiation techniques with Iraqi buyers are among the main focuses of this course.
Azami pointed out that this event was held in the amphitheater hall of Kermanshah's General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, and said: Participation in this meeting was free for all handicrafts activists and it was a great opportunity for activists in this field.
In the end, he stated: This workshop is a practical step to start the path of export, and we hope that with the continuation of these trainings, we will see an increase in the share of Kermanshah art products in the neighboring markets and more economic prosperity for the artisan community of the province.
