Rahmati: I hadn't even reached the bench when we gave away a penalty!

Gol Gohar head coach believes his team handed the duel with Al-Muharraq over to the players' inexperience.

According to Ambassador Arjan Seyyed Mehdi Rahmati, he participated in the press conference after the match against Al-Muharraq Bahrain, which was accompanied by the team's defeat, and answered the questions of the journalists present in the hall. Regarding the game, he said: I think we played a good game. The entire first half was in our team's possession and we had many chances to score. I think the lack of experience made us give away the result of the game. I think we were the better team on the field even when we were down to 10 players. We were lucky. I believe that the second goal of the Al-Muharraq team was scored on a mistake. The mistake that was made on our player, but it was simply passed by the match referee who happened to have a good judgment.

He further said: "In this weather, it is difficult to play 45 minutes with 10 players, and my team did it well." Even when we were 10 people, we hit Tir al-Muharraq. I think the lack of experience made us lose 3 points in the game, but the experience of this game will help us to improve the situation and advance.

Regarding the penalty scene against his team in the first minutes of the second half, Rahmati answered: Because the distance from the dressing room to the bench was too long, we had not yet reached the bench when that penalty scene occurred. I still haven't seen what happened and it happens immediately after the start of the game, the concentration is lost. But with a replacement, we tried to change the system. At the same moment when we were 10 people, we had a chance that we didn't use.

In the end, he said: "If we had enough experience, we would have used the situations of the first half to start the second half better." I told my players that they won't give points with 45 minutes of good play. I think the distance between the dressing room was also the cause. Maybe if we had arrived earlier this would not have happened.
