Tehran Police Explain Shooting in Ostad Park / Two Suspects Arrested on Charges of Disorderly Conduct

Following the incident, officers of the Sixth Intelligence Police Station of Greater Tehran identified the hideout and escape route of the suspects in the Jajrud area through technical and intelligence measures. The arrest operation was then carried out in Ostad Park.

The Capital Police Information Center explained the cause of the shooting in Avesta Park and announced: This shooting was carried out during the operation of the police officers to arrest two accused of mischief and creating insecurity.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan, the information center of the Greater Tehran Police Command announced: "Two defendants, who previously caused terror and terror in Tehran's Air Force neighborhood, had deprived the citizens of their comfort. In their last action, they attacked citizens in one of the parks of this neighborhood, injured two people with knives in the head and hands, and fled from the place.

Following this incident, the agents of the 6th base of Greater Tehran Intelligence Police identified the hideout and escape route of the accused in Jajrud area by carrying out technical and intelligence measures. Subsequently, the operation to arrest these people was carried out in Avesta Park.

According to the police, the accused tried to escape when they saw the officers, and the officers fired in the air to stop them, and eventually both accused were arrested.

Additional investigations also indicate the criminal activity of these people in the field of mobile copying, and their case has been submitted to the judicial authorities for legal proceedings.
