Causes are being determined
Moscow, October 13. /TASS/. Ukraine's air force has confirmed that the country's air defenses failed to obtain timely information about the launch of Russian ballistic missiles amid speculation that the US would suspend intelligence sharing.
In turn, the so-called center for combating false information under the supervision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine also reported on its Telegram channel that it is determining the reasons for the failure to receive information about the launch of Russian ballistic missiles among various versions in this field on the Internet.
"In particular, it can be assumed that the exchange of information with Ukraine has been stopped. The official information has been identified so far," the center reported.
On the evening of October 12, Ukrainian media reported that explosions rocked Kyiv before air raid sirens sounded. Verkhona Rada lawmaker Galina Yanchenko previously said that if the United States stops sharing information with Kiev, Ukrainian authorities will not be able to quickly receive information about Russian ballistic missile launches.
Citing unnamed European sources, the Financial Times reported that the US government has threatened to freeze arms to Ukraine and cut intelligence exchanges with Kiev. Meanwhile, Ukrainian media outlet Strana reported that there was no official information that the US could stop sharing information with Ukraine.
