Aqeela Bani Hashem is the embodiment of patience and insight; a narrative of the life of the great lady of Karbala
Qom-Hazrat Zainab Kabri (PBUH) created a lasting example of standing against oppression and protecting the truth with patience, insight, courage and chastity, and with enlightenment after the Ashura event, she immortalized the message of the Hosseini movement in history.
Ambassador of Arjan - Provinces Group - Mehdi Bakshi Soraki: The blessed birth of Hazrat Zainab Kabri (pbuh), a great lady of patience and insight, reminds of the rise of a personality who reached the heights of faith, knowledge and virtue in the school of Ahl al-Bayt (pbuh) and whose name was associated with courage, chastity and protection of the truth.
Raised in the lap of Amir al-Mu'minin Ali (a.s.) and Hazrat Fatima Zahra (p.a.), with a life full of spirituality and responsibility, they became a lasting model for Muslim men and women and showed that human greatness is defined by adhering to divine values and standing on the path of truth.
The anniversary of the birth of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) is an opportunity to reread the various aspects of the personality of a lady who, after the Ashura incident, kept the message of the Hosseini movement alive with strength and awareness and did not surrender to the distortion of the truth.
Possessing religious knowledge, power of speech, modesty and chastity, she presented a comprehensive image of a Muslim woman in the personal and social arenas, a lady who preserved her dignity in the most difficult circumstances and by enlightening and defending the truth, did not allow the cry of oppression of Ahl al-Bayt (pbuh) to be silenced in the noise of power and propaganda of the enemy.
Nurse's Day is also named after the great position of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH), to remind of the deep connection of Zainabi's patience with the spirit of compassion, care and sincere service to people.
Hazrat Zainab Kabri (PBUH) displayed a lasting model of standing against oppression, religious insight and guarding divine values in the Ashura incident and the events after it, a model whose various dimensions can be seen in her words and behavior against the Umayyad ruling system.
One of the prominent manifestations of this stand is the confrontation of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) with Yazid in his assembly, where the Umayyad ruler tried to attribute the calamity inflicted on the family of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) to divine will and punishment, and with such a perception, the incident of Karbala would appear to be a sign of his righteousness.
Yazid, referring to a wrong understanding of the Qur'anic verses, pretended that the calamities inflicted on the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) were the result of God's will to punish them, but Hazrat Zainab (S.A.) countered this, with deep knowledge of the Quranic teachings, and recited verse 178 of Surah Al-Imran and reminded them of the true meaning of God's respite to the disbelievers.
It is stated in this noble verse: Those who have disbelieved should not think that the respite given to them is for their benefit, because this respite is for them to increase their sins and in the end, a humiliating punishment will await them.
Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) explained the meaning of divine respite
Hazrat Zainab's reference to this verse was a clear response to Yazid's attempt to make the truth appear upside down, because the apparent possession of worldly power and facilities is not necessarily a sign of God's satisfaction with man, and the apparent victory and possession of opportunities and facilities cannot be considered as a criterion of righteousness.
According to this Quranic logic, a person or a group may be given an opportunity, but this opportunity is not a sign of approval of their behavior, but a ground for revealing the truth of their actions and increasing the responsibility and consequences of their sins.
With this stance, Hazrat Zainab (S) did not allow the Umayyad regime to use the apparent circumstances after the Ashura event to distort the truth and present the plight of the Prophet's (S) family as a sign of the defeat of the Righteous Front.
This behavior shows that in the face of the enemy, having religious knowledge and the ability to recognize the correct meaning of the Qur'anic verses plays a decisive role in defending the truth, and citing divine teachings can reveal false claims.
The glitter of the world is not a measure of righteousness
The lesson that can be learned from the standing of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) in front of Yazid is that even in difficult situations, a person should maintain his religious and moral standards and not retreat from the right position under the influence of the apparent power of the other party.
In the incident of Karbala, although the family of the Prophet (PBUH) faced a heavy calamity and apparently, political and military power was in the hands of the Umayyad government, but Hazrat Zainab (PBUH)'s position showed that the truth cannot be measured solely by the criterion of military victory or having worldly facilities.
This view prevents a person from depending on appearances and directs his attention to values that do not lose their validity with the passage of time and changing conditions.
Modesty and chastity in the social life of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh)
Another prominent aspect of Hazrat Zainab's personality is her attention to modesty and chastity in the field of social presence, a feature that, along with her courage, insight and power of expression, presents a comprehensive picture of the personality of that great lady of Islam.
During one of the most difficult times in the history of Islam, Hazrat Zainab was responsible for defending the truth and conveying the message of Ashura, and at the same time, modesty and chastity had a prominent place in her behavior.
The biography of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) shows that courage in telling the truth, standing against oppression and adherence to moral principles are not separate dimensions of human personality, but can find meaning together and be a model for individual and social behavior.
Zainabi's patience is a model of standing against difficulties and preserving human dignity
Hojjat-ul-Islam Habibullah Farahzad, referring to the spiritual status of Hazrat Zainab Kabri (pbuh), said in a conversation with Mehr reporter: This noble lady, by bearing the heavy sufferings of the Karbala incident and standing against the Umayyad regime, played an important role in preserving the message of Ashura and continuing the movement of Imam Hussain (pbuh), and with her courage and perseverance, she did not allow the enemy to achieve its goals in extinguishing the light of Ahl al-Bayt (pbuh).
He stated that Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) is an outstanding role model for humanity in various moral and spiritual aspects, adding: Honesty, chastity, chastity, generosity, forgiveness, sacrifice, sacrifice, patience and tolerance are among the outstanding characteristics of this noble lady, and examining her biography shows how one can stick to religious and moral principles even in the most difficult situations.
The professor of Qom Seminary continued: The greatness of Hazrat Zainab's personality becomes more apparent when we consider the difficult conditions after the Ashura event and the sufferings that befell the Prophet's (PBUH) family, because she not only did not lose her steadfastness, but also defended the truth of religion and the position of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) with enlightening words.
Referring to the words of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) in front of Yazid, this noble lady said that in a situation where the enemy thought that with the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (pbuh) and his companions, he could destroy the name and memory of the family of the Prophet (pbuh), she firmly declared that no conspiracy and effort will be able to erase the memory of the Ahl al-Bayt (pbuh), and this position shows the depth of her faith, knowledge and trust in God's promises.
He went on to explain the place of patience in Islamic teachings and said: Patience is one of the most important pillars of the life of faith, and a believer needs this feature in the path of serving God, both to abandon sin and to fulfill obligations and face difficulties.
Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) kept the message of Ashura alive with her patience
Returning to the biography of Hazrat Zainab Kabri (pbuh), the professor of Qom seminary said: The life of this honorable lady is an outstanding example of patience in the face of severe calamities, and among the events after Ashura, her persistence in the face of the pain of her loved ones, captivity and the behavior of her enemies, showed a rare manifestation of perseverance in the way of God.
Referring to the famous speech of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) in the Majlis of Ibn Ziyad, he added: The response of this noble lady, who in that difficult situation, did not see the events of Ashura as anything but beauty, expresses her monotheistic view and deep faith, because despite all the sufferings, she did not know that the road was broken and the end of the road.
Farahzad continued: Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) also challenged the ruling establishment with decisive words in the Yazid assembly and by reminding the position of the Prophet's (pbuh) family, she did not allow the captivity and the pressures of the enemy to turn into silence in the face of oppression.
Referring to parts of Hazrat Zainab's sermon, he said: By addressing Yazid, he spoke about the fruitlessness of his conspiracies in erasing the name and memory of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and with this stance, he showed that real power is not only in the power of appearance and military dominance, but the right and truth can remain by standing up and enlightening against oppressive institutions.
The professor of Qom seminary pointed out: The prediction of the permanence of the name and memory of the Ahl al-Bayt (pbuh) in the words of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh), against the historical fate of the Umayyad rule and the continuation of people's love for the Prophet's (pbuh) family, shows a manifestation of the permanence of the message of Ashura and indicates that trying to silence the truth cannot prevent its permanence in the conscience of society.
The role of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) in the continuity of the Ashura movement is prominent
Farahzad referring to the term "partner of Hussain" about Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) said: the role of this noble lady next to Imam Hussain (pbuh) in guarding the Ashura Movement is an important and effective role and if the uprising of Imam Hussain (pbuh) reached its climax with sacrifice and martyrdom, the enlightenment and standing of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) also played a decisive role in conveying its message to the society.
Referring to the comparison of the position of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) with Hazrat Khadijah Kabri (pbuh), he added: Just as Hazrat Khadijah (pbuh) played a role in spreading the mission of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) with her support and sacrifice, Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) also stood up to preserve the message of Imam Hussain's (pbuh) movement by being present at the most difficult time in the history of Islam and assumed a great responsibility.
The professor of Qom seminary emphasized the need to know more aspects of Hazrat Zainab's personality and stated: The life of this noble lady should be considered from various aspects, because her life is full of lessons about patience, courage, chastity, defending the right, responsibility and preserving human dignity.
Stating that Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) fulfilled her duty in defense of the truth in very difficult circumstances, he added: The message of Ashura was preserved in history with the struggle and sacrifice of the family of Imam Hussain (pbuh) and the role of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) in explaining this message is an integral part of the historical narrative of Karbala.
