Unofficial PC Port of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection Released

Many players have long wanted to play the first three classic Uncharted games on PC. So you can imagine their reaction when Sony released only Uncharted 4 for this platform...

Many players have always wanted to experience the first three classic versions of the Uncharted game series on the PC platform.

Hence, you can imagine how disappointed Sony was when they only ported Uncharted 4 for this platform and ignored the previous three versions. But now, thanks to the emerging community of reverse engineering and remastering games for the PC platform, fans can finally experience the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection trilogy on their PCs.

This unofficial port was developed by the same person who previously published the PC version of Bloodborne. This version has a dedicated launcher that allows you to run and experience all three classic Uncharted games. This port also includes several settings and options designed specifically for PCs.

In addition, the mentioned port supports frame rates higher than 60 frames per second. Based on the tests, a system equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5 7500F processor, 32 GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER graphics card can run all three games at 120 frames per second at a native resolution of 1440p.

Another interesting point is that all three games support keyboard and mouse. It has been said many times before that keyboard and mouse are still the best way to experience first-person and third-person games; Say what you will, but aiming and moving the camera with the mouse feels much better. This method is much faster and more accurate than using a controller.

But this is not the end of the story. The PC version port of the series supports anti-aliasing technologies including TAA, AMD FSR 3.1, AMD FSR 4 as well as NVIDIA DLSS (specifically DLAA mode). Surprisingly, this version even benefits from frame generation capabilities such as AMD FSR 3 Frame Generation and NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Multi-Frame Gen.

However, as with all similar projects (reproducing games for PC), this first public release has some technical issues; So it should be considered a beta version that will improve over time. For example, frame rates higher than 120 are still experimental and may cause issues. Also, in Uncharted 3, green or black shapes may appear on some characters for one frame. The developer of this port, known as Supermedo, is currently working on a fix.

Even in its current state, this port is a great way to experience the first three classic Uncharted games. So, if you haven't played them yet, we suggest you do.

Over the past few weeks, unofficial PC versions of The Simpsons Game, Peter Jackson's King Kong, Gears of War 3, and Bloodborne have been shared. Also, we should not forget the port of games such as P.T., the arcade version of Virtua Fighter, God of War 3 Remastered, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, Splinter Cell: Double Agent and Metroid Prime.
