Proposed Health Network Plan and Pezeshkian: We Must Station a Basij Doctors Network in Mosques / A Basij Doctor, Beyond a Clinical Specialist, Is a Frontline Health Fighter
The head of the Mostazafan Basij Organization said: Centered on mosques and organizing the capacities of the Basij medical community, we aim to build a people-based network for prevention, health monitoring and crisis management in neighborhoods.
According to the report of Ambassador Arjan Hossein Taeb, the head of Basij Mustafehin organization in the national event of the health community; People-friendly and mosque-oriented attended and emphasizing the need to strengthen popular governance, he said: "If we are looking for a stronger Iranian after the victory over arrogance in the Ramadan war, we must also pursue strong governance and take the role of the people in governance seriously."
According to Mehr, he stated that national power is not only limited to facilities and infrastructure, and added: People's ability to face crises, continue activities and return to normal conditions is also part of the country's power. The higher the health level of the society, the greater its resilience against crises.
The head of Basij Mustafein organization continued: A society where prevention is taken seriously, health services are available and diseases are identified on time, will be more prepared to deal with crises. Therefore, investing in the health sector is not just spending on treatment, but investing in the country's human power, social resilience, maintaining and promoting social capital, and building a strong Iran.
Pointing to the opportunities and challenges of the country's health system, Taib clarified: strengthening the strengths and overcoming obstacles requires a fundamental transformation and bureaucracy alone cannot bring us to this transformation.
Pointing to the necessity of constructive and effective interaction with governing, governmental and public institutions to provide social services and active participation in public benefit measures, he said: Emphasizing the interaction of institutions with each other and the use of people to solve their problems in local governance is a great opportunity that we should take advantage of.
Referring to the mission communicated to this organization, the head of Basij Mostafein organization noted: This notification is not just an order, but a civilizing mission. Based on this, we are starting to move from passive approaches to hands-on and field models in which the mobilization of the medical community is one of the axes of transformation.
Explaining the position of the Basiji doctor, Taib said: The Basiji doctor is more than a clinical specialist, a warrior on the front line of health and a defender of the nation's biological privacy. He is the linker of scientific skill and national and revolutionary idealism, and in crises, unexpected events, exercises and battle conditions, his presence is considered a national and religious responsibility.
Referring to the role of the medical community in different historical periods of the country, he said: From the era of sacred defense and the defense of the shrine to the events related to the resistance front, the global event of the Arbaeen Hosseini walk, the 12-day war and the imposed 40-day war, the medical community has played a role in various fields.
The head of Basij Mostafein Organization added: The experience of these incidents showed us that the speed of action and decentralization in aid delivery are two essential pillars to save human lives. Also, in order to face unforeseen events and combined threats, we must deploy the smart network of medical community mobilization in mosques and neighborhoods.
Stating that mosques can be a base for prevention and health promotion in addition to their social role, Taib said: Every mosque can become a base for first aid and health; A base that plays a role not only in times of crisis, but also in normal conditions in monitoring the health of the society and improving the health literacy of the people.
He continued: In this model, the mosque is not just a place of worship, but can become a center for managing social crises and a neighborhood health center. In this framework, different levels of Basij, centered on the mosque, work in a coordinated network so that people, especially in underprivileged areas, benefit from the specialized capacity of the medical staff and reduce barriers to access to medical services.
The head of Basij Mustafein organization emphasized the necessity of synergizing existing capacities in the country and said: We have expert and committed human resources, responsible institutions and a wide network of people. The main issue is how to connect these capacities to each other, to go beyond isolated activities and reach a coordinated model of service delivery.
Taib added: The mobilization of the medical community organizes the specialized capacity of the health community, connects with the responsible institutions, especially the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, and provides operational solutions to solve the problems. All our efforts in this new model is to help achieve justice in health as one of the efficiency indicators of the system.
He emphasized: The mosque is not a substitute for the health network, but it is the point of connection between the people and the health capacities of the neighborhood with the responsible institutions. By relying on the capacity of mosques and connecting the will of the people with the specialized power of the health system, it is possible to create a model of popular governance that is formed from the heart of society and leads to the strengthening of national authority.
The head of Basij Mustafafin Organization, referring to the upcoming programs, said: Today, the joining of the medical community to Hazrat Baqiyatullah Al-Azam Mosque will be done in the presence of the President. Also, we have invited all the people who are involved in the field of health, regardless of their tendencies and interests, to work together to solve the problems of the people and make the slogan "Every Iranian a Basiji" come true in the way of providing services.
At the end, Taib emphasized the necessity of national unity and noted: We hope to provide more services to the people by overcoming unnecessary disputes and conflicts and relying on national solidarity.
