Mashhad - A member of the Ahl al-Sunna faction of the Islamic Council issued a message congratulating Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) on her birthday and Nurse's Day, and emphasized the need to seriously pursue and fulfill the legal and trade union demands of this group.
According to Mehr reporter, Usman Salari said in a message on the occasion of Nurse's Day: Hazrat Zainab Kobari (peace be upon her) is an eternal symbol of patience, sacrifice, courage and responsibility; A great lady whose proud life is a beacon for all those who consider it their mission to serve people and protect their dignity.
A member of the Sunni faction of the Islamic Council said: Nurse's Day is not only an opportunity to congratulate and celebrate; Rather, it is a reminder of a serious responsibility towards a society that owes an important part of its health and peace to the continuous efforts of nurses. Honoring nurses, beyond verbal appreciation, requires legal rights, job security, livelihood improvement, and practical support for this self-sacrificing class.
While congratulating this auspicious occasion to the noble nursing community of the country, especially the service nurses of Torbatjam, Taibad, Bakhrez and Salehabad cities, I emphasize the necessity of serious follow-up and fulfillment of their legal and union demands.
Salari stated: The most important demands of the nursing community include timely and fair payment of demands, efficiency and overtime of nurses and prevention of long delays in paying their legal salaries. Also, the complete, transparent and fair implementation of the nursing services tariff law and the modification of the payment mechanisms with the aim of establishing a balance between the workload, professional responsibility and receipt of nurses are among the other main demands. Reforming the payment system and raising the standard of living of nurses in accordance with the inflation rate, professional difficulties and their serious responsibilities are also pursued.
A member of the Ahl al-Sunna faction of the Islamic Council stated: Among the other axes to be emphasized is the provision of human resources needed by medical centers, reducing work pressure and preventing burnout with the aim of improving the quality of health services. Strengthening the job security of nurses, especially corporate and contract workers, and determining their employment status within the framework of laws and regulations should also be done. Finally, protecting the physical and mental health of nurses, complying with shift work standards and providing suitable conditions for rest and recovery of their physical and mental strength are among the most important demands of this group.
He said: In the border and less privileged areas, including Torbetjam, Taibad, Bakhrez and Salehabad, paying attention to these demands is doubly important. Because the lack of specialist staff, the difficulties of serving in border areas and the limitation of medical facilities directly affect the quality of health services and people's access to medical facilities.
Salari stated: I believe that the true honoring of nurses will be realized when the linguistic appreciation is turned into practical action, full implementation of laws, provision of financial resources and reform of support mechanisms. Supporting nurses is not an additional cost, but a strategic investment for the health of society, improving the quality of medical services and strengthening public trust.
