The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Switch 2)

Ocarina of Time pre-orders have been live for just over a month now, and there's good reason everyone is excited about it. It sounds amazing, and now we're closer than ever to achieving it.

But what is an instant $10 discount at retailers like Amazon and Walmart? Well, it's actually fairly simple. According to Nintendo's order for this console generation, the MSRP for the game is $59.99 for digital versions and $69.99 for physical versions.

But to encourage fans to purchase physical games through their online storefronts, Amazon and Walmart have been fairly consistent in lowering prices to match or even beat digital prices.

So that's the deal! Plus, there's an even better reason to own The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time as a physical copy. Nintendo also announced that the first printing of physical copies of the game will include "textured foil cover art"... but it's only available while supplies last!

Plus, for what it's worth, physical copies include the full full game on the cartridge. No game key card

So, if you're looking for a limited-edition glossy texture foil cover for the game, it's your best bet to pre-order with Amazon or Walmart and lock in your copy ASAP.

Plus, as a reminder, Amazon's Presale Price Guarantee means you don't have to pay until the game is released, and you'll pay the lowest possible price if the game drops further (even if the price goes up before release day on November 5th, 2026).

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remastered will be released for Switch 2 on November 5, 2026. The game will have more than reloading screens upon arrival, and players will still struggle with the wild changes Nintendo has made to the game's visuals.
