Four Pillars of the Country, Centered on Velayat-e Faqih, Are Playing Their Role

ZANJAN – The deputy commander of Iran's Law Enforcement Force said: Today the country is governed on four fundamental pillars, the first of which is the people, who are present in the streets and in various arenas.

According to Mehr reporter, Sardar Qasim Rezaei on the sidelines of his trip to Zanjan, referring to the conditions of the country and the role of various departments in the management of affairs, stated: Today, the country is governed on the basis of four basic pillars, the first pillar of which is the people; People who are present in the streets and in different arenas and support the revolution and its achievements.

He added: The second pillar is the powerful armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the country's law enforcement system, which, while performing security and law enforcement missions, are present in the field and are ready to face any threat from the enemy. Police forces, along with other armed forces, in addition to ensuring order and security, also provide police services needed by the people.

The country's deputy police commander listed the activities of the diplomatic system and the serving government as two other pillars of the country's administration and said: the diplomatic system pursues the issues and interests of the country with its activities, and the government also pursues the provision of the people's needs and the provision of essential services under the existing conditions.

Emphasizing the coordinated role of these four pillars, Rezaei pointed out: the people, the armed and law enforcement forces, the diplomatic system and the government, each have specific responsibilities, and the set of these capacities, centered on the authority of the jurist, operate in the direction of running the country and protecting national interests.

Emphasizing the necessity of following traffic laws, dealing with arms smuggling and collecting illegal weapons, he said: Dealing with cars and motorcycles without license plates or with defaced license plates is one of the law enforcement priorities, and people who have defaced their vehicle's license plates for any reason should correct their condition before legal action.

Dealing with distorted and missing license plates is the priority of the police

Referring to the necessity of following the rules related to vehicle numbering, he said: according to the law, all cars and motorcycles must have a valid license plate, and not having a license plate or distorting it is considered a violation and in some cases a crime that can result in legal punishment, including imprisonment.

Emphasizing that the issue of distorted and missing license plates is one of the red lines of the police, the deputy police commander of the country added: At the level of the country and provinces, emphasis has been placed on dealing with these cases, and people who have committed such an act without knowledge or for any other reason, should correct the condition of their vehicle as soon as possible.

Referring to the possible connection of distorted license plates with some crimes, Rezaei clarified: distorting or manipulating license plates can provide the basis for criminal abuses; Therefore, the police follow this matter seriously and will not allow such measures to be used to hide the identity of vehicles and facilitate the commission of crimes.

Dealing with arms and drug trafficking is followed seriously

Referring to the operational priorities of the police in the field of dealing with crimes, he said: fighting insecurity, theft, goods smuggling, drug trafficking, arms and ammunition smuggling, and human trafficking are among the issues that the police are seriously pursuing in the field.

Emphasizing the importance of dealing with arms smuggling, the country's deputy police chief added: preventing the entry of illegal weapons from different borders of the country and collecting weapons that are in people's hands without a license are important police priorities.

Rezaei continued: The entry and possession of illegal weapons can affect public security and the peace of society. For this reason, the police deal with any action related to illegal weapons possession and smuggling, and in this way, they take advantage of the information capacities and people's participation.

Calling the police to report suspicious cases and illegal weapons

Calling on the people to cooperate with the police in identifying and dealing with crimes, he said: Citizens can report their information and reports on suspicious cases, arms smuggling and possession of illegal weapons through the numbers announced by the police or by visiting the nearest police station and police station so that the matter can be investigated and followed up by the officers.

Emphasizing the necessity of determining the duty of unauthorized weapons in people's possession, Rezaei said: Those who procure or possess weapons for any reason should note that manufacturing, carrying and keeping weapons without a legal license is considered a crime and is subject to legal liability.

The country's deputy police commander asked the owners of illegal weapons to voluntarily hand over their weapons before the issue is pursued through law enforcement and judicial measures.

He noted: Voluntary cooperation of individuals in the delivery of illegal weapons, within the framework of relevant laws and regulations, is taken into consideration when handling the case; However, it is up to the legal authorities to decide on the effects and legal consequences of this action.

Emphasizing that providing stable security requires the cooperation of the people and the responsible institutions, Rezaei said: "The police seriously pursues dealing with smuggling, organized crimes, illegal weapons, and violations that threaten public security, and public reports can play an effective role in timely identification of criminal cases and prevention of crime."
