According to Mehr reporter, Ayatollah Qurban Ali Dari of Najafabadi stated before noon on Saturday in today's external lesson: Introducing the life and virtues of Hazrat Jafar bin Abi Talib (AS) and promoting the prayer of Jafar Tayyar (AS) should be considered.
He added: Hazrat Jafar Tayyar (a.s.) is one of the leading figures of Islam, and numerous traditions indicate his high position in the history of Islam.
Ayatollah Dari Najafabadi clarified: Hazrat Jafar Tayyar (a.s.) sacrificed both his hands in the battle of Mote for the cause of Islam and became a lasting example of sacrifice and sincerity.
The representative of the religious jurist in Central Province continued: Hazrat Jafar (a.s.) played an important role in explaining Islamic teachings and introducing the truth of Islam by defending the emigrants and reciting verses from Surah Maryam for Najashi during the emigration of Muslims to Abyssinia.
He emphasized: The Holy Prophet (PBUH) was very pleased with the return of Hazrat Jafar (PBUH) from Abyssinia and the coincidence of this event with the victory of the Muslims in Khyber added to his happiness.
Ayatollah Dari Najafabadi added: Jafar Tayyar's prayer (pbuh) is one of the precious relics of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) and the most recommended acts of worship, for which many blessings have been mentioned in the traditions.
He stated: Considering the virtues of Jafar Tayyar's prayer (as) in authentic hadith sources, it is necessary to increase public awareness about this prayer and people should perform it as much as possible, especially on Fridays.
The representative of the religious jurist in Central province said: Mosques should play a role in teaching and promoting the prayer of Jafar Tayyar (a.s.) and increasing people's awareness about this worship.
He emphasized: the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) should be manifested in the behavior and lifestyle of individuals and society, and the practice of religious teachings is the basis for strengthening spirituality and improving morals in society.
