The latest report by Bloomberg publication from the Rockstar North studio headquarters in Edinburgh city, indicates that the developers of the anticipated game GTA 6, in the final weeks leading up to the release, have focused a large part of their focus and activities on identifying and fixing the remaining bugs and technical problems.
According to this report, Jason Schreier, a well-known Bloomberg reporter, had an exclusive visit to the Rockstar North studio at the end of September 2026, and during his presence, he had a conversation with a number of senior managers of the company about the latest status and final stages of GTA 6 development.
During this field visit, Schreier observed several displays on the studio floor that depicted the progress of work and the process of handling technical issues through a series of green and red indicators. According to his careful observations, at the present time, the number of green markers (the symbol of solving the problem) has far exceeded the red markers.
The predominance of green color on these displays can be considered a very positive signal of the desired progress of the project in the final phase of development. At first, the gamer community expected this work to be released in 2025, but Rockstar further postponed the release date to 2026 and finally, after another revision, announced 28 Aban (November 19) as the definitive release date.
Now approaching this fateful date, the troubleshooting phase and perfect preparation of the final version has become of vital importance for Rockstar; Especially considering the fact that GTA 6 is the biggest and most ambitious project in the entire history of this legendary company.
The long-awaited game GTA 6 will be released on 28 Aban (19 November) for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
The GTA game series has an adult age rating; Therefore, it is necessary for families to monitor the access of children and teenagers.
