Haj Ali Akbari Calls for Review of Nuclear Doctrine

The Tehran Friday Prayer leader, pointing to Iran's capacity to stand up to "arrogance," called for a revision of the nuclear doctrine and a review of Iran's continued membership in the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).

Referring to Iran's ability to stand up against "arrogance", the preacher of Tehran's Friday prayer called for a revision of the nuclear doctrine and a review of Iran's continued membership in the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

According to Ambassador Arjan Haj Ali Akbari, the preacher of Friday prayers in Tehran wrote on his user account on a social network: "Today we have an Iranian who can stand up to arrogance and say: "No". The expectation of our nation is to reconsider the nuclear doctrine. Why should we still be in NPT?"
