The members of a professional robbery gang who robbed the cars, shops and houses of citizens in the dark of the night were arrested by the police detectives of Mashhad.

The first important clues about the members of the "Night Bats" gang came to the attention of the elite detectives of the West Intelligence Police Base late last September, when the robbery of a video and computer equipment store was reported to the police.

Examining CCTV footage and the identity of the perpetrators of the robbery in the first stage of the police investigation indicated that other similar robberies have taken place in Mashhad in this way, because in the said pictures, signs of a white Quick car were found, which showed that the detectives had encountered a professional robbery gang and the car's license plate numbers were also fake.

For this reason and due to the importance and sensitivity of the issue, an analytical and crime analysis meeting was held under the chairmanship of Colonel Javadbeghi (Chief of Mashhad Intelligence Police) and the incident of the aforementioned robberies was subjected to expert investigation.

It didn't take long that important clues about the theft of car batteries and ECUs (computers) were also obtained, and in this way, specialized investigations in the dark corridors of theft cases entered a new stage, because in the same preliminary investigations, the specifications of an Atlas vehicle were also revealed, whose images were recorded at the scene of night thefts.

Very soon, the hypothesis of a professional robbery gang gained strength, which, like "night bats", only come out of the nest in the dark and carry out their criminal actions. Therefore, a group of elite detectives under the direct guidance of Colonel Ali Asgari (Chief of the West Base of the Mashhad Intelligence Police) started intelligence observations to accurately identify the original license plates of Kwik and Atlas cars, and after hours of extensive activities, they succeeded in discovering the real license plate number of the white Kwik car. On the other hand, the impersonation of the driver and two-seater Quick was also included in the agenda, and the scope of technical investigations was extended to the database of police and criminals.

While the investigation of the detectives revealed the hidden angles and other dimensions of the "Bats of the Night" gang, it was found that the bespectacled leader of the said gang has about 13 criminal records, of which more than 8 of his black records are related to theft crimes.

This is how the operative group of detectives under the supervision of Lieutenant 1st Rahmati (case officer) came into action and started the operation to arrest the "Night Thieves" while the ownership of Quick and Atlas cars was registered in the traffic police's computers in the name of other people. Therefore, the said operation was tied to special measures and specialized police tactics so that the main perpetrators of the robberies do not get a chance to escape.

A few hours later, the detectives, with the special and decisive orders of Judge Shariati, identified the hiding place of two of the main accused in the case on Shahid Alimardani and Shahid Ismailzadeh streets and surrounded the mentioned areas inconspicuously.

It didn't take long before the said operation started in accordance with Sharia and legal standards under the supervision of Mashhad police chief and the detectives entered the hiding place of "night bats" and arrested two men aged 45 and 47, while a strange young woman was also present in one of the hiding places.

In the continuation of the operation, Quick and Atlas cars were seized in the parking lot of the residential complex where the accused were hiding, and the detectives searched the hiding place of the accused.

At the same time, a large number of car batteries, new and packaged children's clothes, rice, various types of PS4 and PS5 devices, pants, t-shirts and women's bags, tool boxes, picnics, dealers, etc. were discovered, and thus the scope of the inspections reached inside the impounded vehicles, and a large number of adhesive numbers and numbers were also obtained along with tools and equipment for forging license plates, which revealed that the members of this robbery gang, immediately after taking possession of citizens' property, they They divided it among themselves.

Therefore, according to the report, with the transfer of the accused to the West Intelligence Police base, the thorough investigation continued to discover other angles of this case. The detailed investigations of the detectives showed that the bespectacled leader of the "Night Bats" gang, who has 13 criminal records, and the husband and sister of another member of the professional robbery gang, who, with the cooperation of other people, have committed their thefts from midnight to dawn in various parts of the city, especially in the west of Mashhad.

The investigation of most of the detectives indicated that the members of the said gang were destroying the locks of the shops with iron rods and iron rods and stealing the property inside the shops by breaking the glass. They also used a special trick to open the hoods of cars like Pride, Samand, and Peugeot in a few seconds and used the YCU battery.

Police investigations based on documents and CCTV images show that the "Night Bats" gang have committed robberies in the areas of Abdul Mutalib, Pirouzi, Sajjad, Shahid Fakuri, etc. Also, the continuation of the investigation by the detectives indicated that one of the main defendants in the case was arrested last May by the forces of one of Mashhad Police Stations and charged with theft, and he was released on bail after obtaining the consent of the plaintiffs.
