Kremlin: No Progress Made on an Energy Ceasefire
The Kremlin spokesperson said contacts regarding a possible ceasefire over attacks on energy infrastructure in Russia and Ukraine are ongoing, but there have been no new developments since yesterday.
The spokesman of the Kremlin announced that the calls about a possible ceasefire in the attacks on the energy infrastructure of Russia and Ukraine are continuing, but no new developments have occurred since yesterday.
According to Ambassador Arjan, quoted by Tass, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a press conference on Tuesday that Moscow is still discussing the possibility of an "energy ceasefire" in Ukraine, but the situation has not changed since the previous day.
Peskov stated: We talked about this issue yesterday and for now I have nothing to add to the previous statements. Calls are ongoing in this regard.
A day before, the President of the United States announced an agreement called "Energy Ceasefire" between Russia and Ukraine. In response, the Kremlin also announced that calls on this issue are still ongoing.
The Kremlin spokesman also emphasized that Russia considers it necessary to achieve a lasting peace, not just a ceasefire, and has focused its efforts on achieving this goal.
