Josh Peck credits Hilary Duff for being a kind lead on the set of "How I Met Your Father," saying that after being in the business for so long, he's learned that when you're leading a show, it's important to be kind.

Hilary Duff's sojourn in the tropics has put the old Hollywood friendship debate back in the spotlight.

The 39-year-old actress and singer shared photos from her trip to Mexico with old friends, including several of herself wearing a bright yellow one-piece swimsuit on the beach.

In one photo, Duff posed on the sand wearing a freshly decorated coconut with a flower, oversized sunglasses and a dark baseball cap. Her blonde hair was gently pulled back as she smiled for the camera.

Another selfie shows the "Lizzie McGuire" star lounging on a bright pink lounge chair in the same swimsuit, shielding her face from the sun with one hand.

Duff also shared a group photo of the eight women posing together on a wooden terrace overlooking the ocean at sunset, framed by palm trees.

Among the desperate women, actress Moore, celebrity chef Gabby Dalkin, and make-up artist Kelsey Dinahan-Fisher escaped from these places.

Duff also tagged friends Whitney Wagner Hartley, Amanda Lily White, Janice Gut and Hailey Christian in the Instagram post.

But while the singer appeared to be spending some time with friends, followers were quick to bring up a familiar name in the comments: Ashley Tisdale.

"I just know Ashley Tisdale is blowing the air," one person commented.

"Is this the same toxic mom trip that came out of the group chat?" asked another

"Y'all forgot about Ashley Tisdale," wrote a third.

Not everyone appreciated the new speculation.

"Raising AT is kind of like bullying adults. Leave him alone," one follower said.

The comments appear to refer to a controversy that erupted earlier this year after Tisdale published a personal essay about her leaving a toxic group of mothers.

In a January article for The Cut, titled "Breaking Up With My Toxic Mom Group," the former "High School Musical" star felt increasingly excluded from gatherings with the women she once considered close friends.

"I remember getting kicked out of a few group sessions, and I knew about them because Instagram made sure to give me every single Instagram photo and story," she wrote.

Tisdale said the situation eventually prompted him to send a message explaining why he no longer wanted to participate.

"It's too high school for me and I don't want to be in it anymore," he told the group.

However, a representative for Tisdale denied to TMZ that the article was about Duff, Moore or Meghan Trainor.

Duff later addressed the controversy during an appearance on the Call Your Dad podcast, telling host Alex Cooper that she was hurt by the speculation.

"I was really sad. I honestly felt really sad," Duff said.

"Reading something that's not true and bad from six women their whole lives," she continued.

Duff also questioned the timing of the controversy, saying she "feels used" as she experiences a resurgence in her career.
