Case Closed in Minab Police Officer Murder; Qisas Sentence Carried Out

The case of the murder of a police officer in Minab County concluded after legal procedures and confirmation of the sentence by the Supreme Court. The qisas (retribution) sentence against the killer of the martyr Jasem Hosseinian was carried out in Minab Prison. The Prosecutor of Hormozgan Province detailed the course of the case.

Ambassador Arjan-Incidents Group: The General and Revolutionary Prosecutor of Hormozgan province announced the execution of the sentence of retribution for the murder of the martyred third lieutenant Jassim Hosseinian, a road police officer of Minab city.

Aref Akbari announced that after going through the proceedings, issuing a sentence of retribution for the accused and confirming the verdict issued by the Supreme Court, the sentence of retribution was executed in the prison of Minab city.

The prosecutor of Hormozgan provincial center said about the proceedings of this case: After the murder of martyr Jassim Hosseinian, the case was examined in the criminal court of Hormozgan province located in Minab city.

According to Akbari, the accused was accused of being in charge of the intentional murder of martyr Jassim Hosseinian. After the arrest of the accused, the investigation was completed and the case was sent to a criminal court in Hormozgan province after issuing an indictment and summons for trial.

Hearings were held in the presence of the prosecutor's representative, the accused's lawyers and the parents of the accused, and finally, after proving the commission of intentional murder and requesting the parents of the accused, the accused was sentenced to self-retribution.

Akbari added: The verdict issued within the legal deadline was appealed and the case was sent to the Supreme Court for review.

According to the prosecutor of the center of Hormozgan province, the sentence of retribution was approved by the Supreme Court of the country and finally, after going through legal procedures, it was executed in Minab prison.

The prosecutor of the center of Hormozgan province also emphasized that the judicial system, within the framework of its legal missions to protect the public order and security of the society, will deal legally with assaulting police officers and security guards.

Martyr Jassim Hosseinian, the third lieutenant of Minab city road police, was run over by a passenger car while carrying out his mission and controlling passing vehicles in the area of Minab-Jask (Godo) road police while confronting smugglers.

This police officer was taken to the hospital after the incident, but due to the severity of his injuries, he died and was martyred.

After this incident, a judicial case was established to identify and deal with the accusation of the perpetrator of the murder.

The sentence of retribution for the killer of Shahid Reza Tehmefi, an officer of the Faraja Relief Unit in Bandar Abbas, was executed after going through the legal process and confirming the decision in the Supreme Court. By announcing this news, the prosecutor of the center of Hormozgan province explained the details of the judicial proceedings in the murder case of this officer.

The sentence of retribution for the murderer of Shahid Mohammad Javad Rahimi, the police officer of Damghan city, who was martyred while performing his duty in the province hospital, was executed after legal procedures and the approval of the Supreme Court. This ruling was implemented this morning at the request of the parents of Dem in Damghan.

The spokesman of the judicial branch announced the continuation of the investigation of the case of Shajareh Tayyaba Minab School in Branch 55 of the Tehran Law Court and said that a supplementary expert order has been issued for a detailed investigation of the dimensions of the incident.
