Fourth National Iranian Royal Jelly Gathering to Be Held in Mazandaran

Sari – Deputy for Livestock Production Improvement at Mazandaran's Agricultural Jihad Organization announced that the fourth national Iranian royal jelly gathering will be held in the province, saying the event aims to standardize production.

According to Mehr reporter, Hossein Neghadar said on the sidelines of the planning meeting of the Royal Gel National Conference on Monday afternoon, referring to the planning for this gathering: In the coordination meeting of this event, with the presence of the CEO of the National Beekeepers Union of the country and experts in this field, the scientific, technical and executive aspects of the program were examined.

Emphasizing the necessity of diversifying beekeeping products, he added: The development of production of products with high added value, including royal jelly, can help increase the economic productivity of beekeeping and improve the income of the activists of this sector.

The vice president of livestock production improvement of the Mazandaran Agricultural Jihad Organization, referring to the climatic capacities of the province, said: hosting this meeting is an opportunity to introduce new methods of production, processing, storage in the cold chain and packaging of royal jelly, and to improve the specialized knowledge of beekeepers.

Neghadar considered the standardization of the production process and the determination of quality indicators as one of the important axes of this event and said: interaction between research centers, trade unions and executive bodies can provide the basis for improving the quality of products and dealing with the supply of non-standard products.

He continued: The development of royal jelly production and related processing industries, in addition to creating sustainable job opportunities in rural areas, can play an effective role in strengthening domestic production, reducing dependence on imports, and increasing the economic power of beekeepers.

The Vice President of Livestock Production Improvement of Mazandaran Agricultural Jihad Organization noted: In the preliminary meeting, it was decided to compile a road map and scientific, technical and executive requirements of the fourth national meeting of Iranian Royal Gel and submit it to the relevant authorities for review and approval.
