Zanjan Gas Company Warns of Winter Consumption
Zanjan Province Gas Company Head Stresses Stable Gas Supply to Households in Cold Season. With the onset of cold weather, over 64% of the province's natural gas is consumed on average by residential and commercial users, making consumption management and optimization programs all the more essential.
Referring to the difference in the pattern of gas consumption in hot and cold seasons, according to the report of Ambassador Arjan from Zanjan, Mehdi Nabai said: In the hot months of the year, a significant share of the province's natural gas is allocated to power plants and industrial units, but as the temperature drops, the consumption in the domestic and commercial sectors increases.
Stating that the stable supply of gas needed by families is the main priority of the province's gas company, he added: In order to maintain the stability of the network and supply gas to household customers, if necessary, restrictions should be applied to some other sectors, including power plants and large industries.
Referring to the country's energy supply conditions and the worsening imbalance between gas production and consumption, Nabai stated: Considering the conditions caused by the attacks of the American-Zionist enemy on the country's four refineries and its effects on the energy situation, culturalization and optimization of gas consumption is more important this year than in the past.
Explaining the benefits of optimizing gas consumption, the head of Zanjan Gas Company said: sustainable supply of household energy, support for production and industry, optimal use of national resources, reduction of consumer costs and environmental protection are among the most important achievements of gas consumption management.
Referring to the relationship between saving gas consumption and the continuation of production units, he said: in the form of Carver's incentive plans, saved gas can be provided to industries through saving certificates so that, while managing energy consumption, the needs of the country's productive sector can be better met.
Nabai continued: The correct use of national resources is not only limited to the stability of the gas network, but also reduces the costs of households and commercial units. Subscribers can reduce their gas costs by managing consumption and reducing gas usage, especially in different tariff levels.
He considered the reduction of environmental pollutants as one of the other results of consumption management and emphasized: the modification of the consumption pattern, in addition to helping to provide energy in the cold days of the year, provides the basis for more effective use of the country's resources.
The head of Zanjan gas company pointed to the capacity of the Karver plan in reducing energy wastage and said: within the framework of this plan, subscribers can benefit from equipment modification and energy consumption optimization services without paying, and in some cases, they can also receive rewards from the savings created.
He added: Carver companies, using their technical expertise and implementing cultural programs, check the status of gas consumption of the subscribers and provide solutions to reduce consumption and increase energy efficiency.
Nabai pointed out that the implementation of these programs can reduce the cost of gas for the customers, provide the opportunity to benefit from the economic benefits of savings certificates in the energy exchange, and help supply the fuel needed by the industries and productive sectors of the country.
