According to Mehr reporter, Director General of Fisheries of Bushehr province on Tuesday evening, referring to the economic and agricultural capacities of Jam city, stated in this ceremony: The development of fisheries activities in different cities of the province, according to the capacities and advantages of each region, is one of the important approaches of Bushehr province fisheries, and Jam city also has suitable capacities for the development of aquaculture activities.

Referring to the possibility of using agricultural water storage ponds for fish breeding, he added: In addition to supplying the water needed by the agricultural sector, these ponds can be a platform for aquatic life production and increasing the productivity of existing facilities. With proper management and multi-purpose use of these capacities, it is possible to increase production, create additional income for farmers and develop economic activities.

The Director General of Fisheries of Bushehr Province stated: Aquaculture along with agriculture can be the basis for diversifying production activities and optimal use of available resources. In this regard, fish breeding in agricultural water storage ponds is a good opportunity to increase productivity, strengthen the income of operators and create new job opportunities in Jam city.

Emphasizing the importance of starting a fisheries agency in Jam city, Amini pointed out: the activity of this agency provides a closer relationship with farmers, operators, and investors, and increases the possibility of identifying capacities, providing expert advice, following up on requests, and guiding potential aquaculture projects.

He continued: The approach of the province's fisheries is the balanced development of aquaculture, diversification of production, increasing the productivity of existing capacities and strengthening the participation of the private sector. In this direction, the cooperation of the governorate, agricultural jihad and other related institutions can play an effective role in identifying investment opportunities and facilitating the implementation of production plans.
