According to Mehr reporter, Colonel Tawheed Farsi told reporters on Monday evening: "Relief unit agents stopped a truck carrying suspicious cargo during the control of passing vehicles in one of the transportation axes as part of the plan to combat the smuggling of goods and currency and stopped it for further investigation."

He further added that during the inspection of the impounded vehicle, the officers discovered a heavy duty Volvo engine that did not have a legal license.

Maragheh police chief pointed out that according to the theory of relevant experts, the value of the uncovered goods was estimated at 15 billion Rials, and said: In this regard, a driver was arrested and after filing a case, he was sent to the courthouse for legal proceedings.
