Ahvaz – The georeferenced map of Khuzestan province has been unveiled, and the spatial data infrastructure for 2,900 registered parcels has been completed.

According to the report of Mehr reporter, at the same time as the head of the Land Registry Organization of the country visited Khuzestan, the land reference map of this province was unveiled as an achievement of the completion of the land reference project; A project that, by determining the exact location and limits of registration plates, provides the spatial information infrastructure needed for the development and completion of land registration (cadastre) of the province. With the completion of this project, information about 2,900 registration plates in an area of ​​6,400,000 hectares has been collected and organized in the land reference map of Khuzestan.

The completion of this project, in addition to providing a suitable platform for the development and completion of cadastral maps, can help to increase the accuracy in identifying registration areas, reduce spatial discrepancies, prevent the interference of land boundaries, and improve the quality of decision-making in registration matters.

This extension is considered an important step in the development of the technical and informational infrastructure of the registration system of the province, and by linking the registration information to precise geographical locations, it provides the basis for more efficient management of lands and properties and more reliable stabilization of ownership.
