Amber Siavos, who competed on season 8 of Big Brother, has died, the Clark County Medical Examiner in Nevada confirmed to Deadline. He was 46 years old.

Siavos died Oct. 9 at a Las Vegas residence, according to his death record. The cause and manner of death are under investigation.

Longtime Big Brother host Julie Chen Munoz posted a tribute to Siavos on her Instagram page on Monday, along with a clip of her Big Brother interview after her eviction: "Rest in amber peace. It's hard to believe, but I know you've returned to our eternal home with our Creator. We will remember you with love from your heart and honesty."

Siavos participated in season 8 of Big Brother in 2007. During her time on the show, she became close with her housemates, Jamka Cameron and Dustin Erikstrup, and was known for emotional and often tearful moments, earning her the nickname "Whamber".

Siavos was expelled eighth and stood in seventh place. Dick "Evil Dick" Donato went on to win the season.

In January 2018, Siavos' 18-year-old daughter, Lexi Tomcavage, died in an apparent suicide, according to TMZ, which was the first to report Siavos' death.
