Ali-Naqi Behrouzi, a pioneering teacher and researcher who, with integrity and tireless effort, saved Fars' ancient treasures from decay and oblivion.
Iran's Sefir Arjan Culture and Publishing Service (Sefir Arjan), the 32nd volume of the series "Famous Bibliography of Contemporary Iran" written by Ali Sadeghzadeh Vayqan, is dedicated to the life and cultural activities of Ali Naghi Behrouzi. This collection has been published by Iran's book and literature house.
In the scorching afternoons of Bushehr, when the school bell rang and the students went home, the struggle of a man began as if the fire of thirst in his soul could not be quenched. Mirza Alinaghi Behrouzi, the young principal of the primary school, was searching the dusty alleys for a new book; Like a traveler wandering in the desert who follows a drop of water. He had realized since his teenage years that the pen is the only bastion to save an identity that is about to be forgotten. For him, teaching was not a job to make ends meet and receive a few tomans of government salary; It was a moral covenant with history.
If the textbook did not have the answer to a question, he would go to the heart of the first-hand references and leave the result of the investigation to the newspapers so that no knowledge is missed. Even in his old age, when his thin body could not withstand the heavy burden of the days, he did not stop exploring. From the court of Hafez to the history of the printing houses and press of Fars, his name was engraved on the forehead of the written heritage of this land to testify to the life of a man who sought knowledge not in the corner of peace, but in the blinds of suffering and commitment.

On the 16th of Shahrivar 1312, the late Etimad al-Tulia Rouhi, the director of the Kamaliyah school, joined Rahmat Yazidi and Behrouzi was appointed as the guardian of the said school.
From 4th of Azar 1318, he was appointed as administrator of Hayat High School to the administration and bookkeeping of Boys' Preparatory School, which became official on 16 Shahrivar 1320. He also had the opportunity to teach scouting and health courses in the seminary and high school.
Behrouzi resigned from Shapur High School on the 7th of Mehr 1324, and was the teacher of Shahpur and Hayat high schools from the 8th of Mehr to the 14th of Mehr 1331. On 2nd Azar 1337, he retired from government service with 30 years of service as a non-bachelor's secretary, but he continued teaching at Ibn Sina National High School until 1350.
On 2nd Azar 1337, he retired from government service with 30 years of service as a non-bachelor's secretary, but he continued teaching at Ibn Sina National High School until 1350. During his tenure in schools and universities, Behrouzi took charge of teaching in the absence of teachers.
On the eve of his retirement, Alinaqi Behrouzi had obtained a license for "a comprehensive boys' primary school named Qaani" from the Ministry of Culture under his own management, but he did not take any action.
He devoted himself to research and study and compiled and published lasting works. In 1350, he was appointed to be the head of the Hafezieh library, which continued until 1358. From July 1358, he was appointed to be the head of the library of Hazrat Ahmed bin Musa Shahcheragh (AS).
He did not impose his opinions. His son Simin writes: "He introduced us to his library, and at the same time, he tried to be the self-selector of our mental method. He never imposed his opinion, but he taught us what he felt we should learn, and he taught us well."
He had great love for Iran and Iranians. Behrouzi's sense of patriotism in defending Iran was commendable. He managed the Iranian school in Bahrain for two years, despite the British policy, he raised the Iranian flag in the school.
Asadollah Bostani writes: "The late Behrouzi made a valuable effort in keeping alive the name and memory of the elders of the Fars region and introducing the first poets of Shiraz, and we who today honor his memory and his name in this memorial is because he himself was diligent in honoring writers and poets, and he never lost the good name of the departed, and he expressed a great love for what was related to Iran and Iranians, and the literature of this border and land." He considered the old to be a source of pride and he often said:
The continuation of the independence and greatness of Iran is not because the amirs and kings who are powerful and conquering the country and mostly trespassing on the borders and land and rights of others have come to power and ruled for a few days, but the durability, authority and glory of the Iranian people is due to the existence of great scientists, philosophers, writers and researchers who have stepped into the field of life throughout our history and left precious works. Works that you should try to preserve until the end of your life and protect them from the decay and evolution of time, and you should try and try well in this matter until the last days of your life.
He had special merit and competence in management. The certificate of Ferdowsi Primary School in Bushehr states: "Mr. Mustatab Mr. Aghamirza Alinaqi Behrouzi, who has been assigned to the position of administrator and teacher in Ferdowsi National Primary School for more than one year, has shown special competence and sufficiency in the way of running the school, to such an extent that during this period, the school has reached a point of innovation and witnessing in all respects in terms of regularity and regularity and noticeable progress in the education and training of the students of that school. It is praise and appreciation."
He had unparalleled patience and precision in education. The problems related to the full payment of salaries and benefits and loans for livelihood could not reduce Behrouzi's efforts to serve the field of education. His brother Mohammad Javad writes: "During his sixty years of cultural and literary services, the late Behrouzi was always accurate and faithful in his work and performed his duties with complete honesty and compassion.
Hasan Emdad writes: "Behrouzi had a healthy self and good morals, and was always content, without grudges, and kind, and he did the work of education with patience and precision, and he did everything he undertook with passion and order to the point of obsession. When Behrouzi was a teacher, he did not limit himself to the text of the textbook, but in order to supplement the lesson materials and ensure their accuracy, he referred to the main texts and numerous books related to the lesson and narrated as much as necessary in the class along with the lesson, and if the material was beyond the scope and time of the class, he published the result of his material in local newspapers so that the students could make maximum use of those detailed materials related to their lesson.
He was a chaste critic. Hasan Emdad writes: "His critical writings were accompanied by chastity of pen and all of them had an instructional aspect, and Behrouzi really wanted to be a teacher of the community in this way."
He was regular and conscientious. He always observed strict order and conscientiousness and never shirked from his duties and never conflicted. Even in many cases, despite being sick and sick (fever, etc.), he went to class and did his duties. It can be safely said that he was not absent or even late during the entire service (except in emergencies).
Alinaqi Behrouzi was interested in writing since he was studying. Therefore, he started writing articles at the age of 20. From that date, he wrote articles for newspapers, magazines and almanacs in Shiraz and Tehran, the number of which is out of number. Behrouzi loved books and was thirsty for reading. Ali Mohammad Hekmat Bushehri writes: "In 1308, when he was the principal of the primary school, every day after the school was closed, he was like a thirsty person in the burning desert in search of water, trying to get a new book to study from somewhere."
In 1316, when the "Department of Anthropology" was founded in Tehran, the Ministry of Culture, through the country's culture departments, requested all teachers and teachers to collect and record the local works of the region where they work and which have a folkloric aspect, so that they can be collected and recorded before they are destroyed by the influence of the new civilization.
Behrouzi had a special interest in poetry since childhood. In the days of his youth, when he was enthusiastic and had free time, and also in the following years, due to the occurrence of incidents, he wrote poems out of curiosity, without claiming to be a poet, each of which is a reminder of different periods of his life and born of an incident or emotions. For example, he wrote a poem on the occasion of Shahrivar 1320 and the occupation of Iran by foreign soldiers, but he never claimed to be a poet.
Behrouzi was one of the founders of Pars Knowledge Center due to his outstanding cultural activities and research works. This center was a cultural, research and literary association that was formed in the beginning of December 1331 by several scholars and scholars of Shiraz, and they gathered together once every two weeks on Wednesday afternoons, and spent hours discussing and researching historical and literary research and reading poems and writings.
Behrouzi's mastery of research and writing led to the position of "liaison and associate of the Ministry of Culture's General Writing Department" in the Department of Culture of the 7th province from the Minister of Culture. Behrouzi's work of calligraphy, tracing and research was a comprehensive encyclopedia about the history and literature of Fars and the south of the country. For this reason, he was appointed as a member of Shiraz Radio Writers' Council in 1337 and was an active and opinionated member. In addition to controlling, supervising and preparing numerous cultural programs (in honor of Iran's great orators, Saadi, Hafez, Qaani, introduction of historical works of Fars), Behrouzi was the deputy in the absence of the head of Fars Publications Department and Shiraz Radio.
Behrouzi after he was appointed as the head of the Hafezieh library in 1350. In order to organize this library in 1351, he participated in the 15th training course on the principles of librarianship in the country's public libraries.
On the other hand, Professor Behrouzi was a member of many literary and scientific associations, the most important of which were: 1) Shiraz Literary Association, 2) Fars Journalists Association (Secretary), 3) Fars Culturists Association, 4) Pars Knowledge Association, 5) International Pen Association, 6) Antiquities Protection Council, 7) Anthropology Association, and 8) Information Newspaper Advisory Board.
Behrouzi, who was a member of the Shiraz Antiquities Protection Council, by authoring several works about the ancient and historical monuments of the Shiraz plain, played an important role in explaining and introducing the artistic and architectural importance of these works to the common people and properties, and in this way played a lasting role in the preservation of historical and ancient monuments.
For this reason, he had consciously realized that Iranian culture and especially what was written in Persian language. For a long time in the subcontinent, it has had a deep connection with people's lives, and he considered the best way to recognize and introduce the Persian language versions that were left in the far away cities and villages of that land.
Behrouzi loved "research" and "books" and did not put down "books" and "pen" until the moment of his death. "His love for the book had reached the point of madness." He never stopped studying, and he constantly tried to increase his knowledge by reading books and magazines, and was careful to understand what he read.
