Nasir Beigi: "Tabrizim" is an opportunity to convey the message of sacrifice and resistance

Tabriz- The head of the cultural, social and sports organization of Tabriz Municipality considered the "Tabrizim" festival as an opportunity to convey the message of sacrifice and resistance and respect the martyrs of the recent imposed war.

According to Ambassador Arjan Amir Nasir Beigi, referring to the presence of theater groups from different provinces of the country in the 7th "Tabrizim" national street theater festival, Ambassador Arjan Amir Nasir Beigi said: "This cultural event, in addition to strengthening social vitality and promoting urban culture, provides a basis for conveying the concepts of citizenship and the values of sacrifice and resistance in the form of performing arts."

Stating that artists from East Azerbaijan and Tabriz are present in this period along with groups from other parts of the country, he said: Festival performances will be held in the last days of October in various city complexes, especially the main area of the festival in Kolahfarangi mansion.

Referring to the opening ceremony of this event at the Khavaran International Conference Center, the head of staff of the 7th National Street Theater Festival "Tabrizim" added: This ceremony was held with the presence of drama groups and selected students of Tabriz, and simultaneously with the beginning of the festival, the performance of works in parks, selected schools and other planned urban spaces also began.

Implementation of side programs in different parts of Tabriz

Referring to the planned programs in addition to the competitive part of the festival, Nasir Beigi said: Side programs are also held in different parts of the city with the aim of supporting theater groups and conveying the message of the works to different audiences.

He considered the continuation of this cultural event and improving its quality necessary and expressed hope that in the future, more groups from different provinces of the country will attend the festival and that this event will play a more effective role in realizing the cultural and social goals of Tabriz.

Reflection of sacrifice and resistance in dramatic works

The head of the cultural, social and sports organization of Tabriz municipality emphasized the place of issues related to holy defense in the works of this period of the festival and said: one of the important axes of "Tabrizim" is the artists' tribute to the fighters and heroes of Iran, especially the martyrs of the recent imposed war, so that the concepts of sacrifice and resistance are conveyed to the audience through the language of art.

Nasir Beigi also appreciated the efforts of the performing groups to participate in this event and said: We appreciate all the artists who tried to hold the festival, including the groups that could not be in the main part due to time constraints.

He expressed his hope that in the future periods, it will be possible to host more theater groups from different parts of the country, so as to prepare the ground for wider participation of artists in the "Tabrizim" national street theater festival.
