The low quality of products can cause problems for Iran's exports Exporters should act more professionally
The head of the Iran Trade Development Organization emphasized the need to improve the quality of export goods and said: exporters should operate in the target markets with professional and scientific methods so as not to face problems.
According to Ambassador Arjan's report, Mohammad Ali Dehghan Dehnavi, head of the Trade Development Organization of Iran, stressed the need to comply with standards and improve the quality of export products in response to Ambassador Arjan's reporter's question about the organization's measures to prevent the export of low-quality goods and the activities of informal exporters.
Dehghan Dehnavi pointed out that compliance with standards is one of the export requirements and stated: Goods that do not meet the necessary standards are not allowed to be exported; Nevertheless, in some areas, compliance with standards alone is not enough to guarantee the desired quality of products.
Referring to the importance of quality and freshness of agricultural products, he added: In some products, including agricultural products, in addition to standards, factors such as quality and freshness are also important, and problems may arise in this field.
Explaining the organization's approach to improving the quality of export goods, the head of the Iran Trade Development Organization said: the measures we follow in this field are mostly of an encouraging nature. We try to guide them towards more professional activities through export management companies, export consortia and evaluation of exporters' capabilities.
Dehghan Dahnavi emphasized: The goal is for exporters to carry out their export activities using better, professional and scientific methods so that they do not face problems in the target markets.
