Search Ends for Second Missing Person in Minudasht Flood; Body Found

The body of the second person missing in the Minudasht flood was found in the village of Tarseh through the efforts of Red Crescent forces and local residents. One person had died in the incident on the first day, and the other missing person was later found alive. But how severe were the heavy rains in Golestan?

The CEO of Golestan Red Crescent Society said: The body of the second missing person of the Minodasht flood was found in Terse village of this city with the efforts of the Red Crescent and the people.

Morteza Salimi told Ambassador Arjan on Monday evening: One person died in the flood in Minodasht on the first day and 2 people were missing, but with the efforts of the rescue forces and the people, one person was found safe and today, the Red Crescent and the people's forces managed to find the body of the second missing person.

Heavy and spotty rain started on Saturday evening this week in different parts of Golestan and caused heavy flooding of urban roads.

The highest rainfall recorded recently in Golestan with 147 mm belongs to the village of "Qala Qafe Bala" of Minodasht city, and after that the highest rainfall was recorded in Sasang and Dozin Minodasht with 120 and 96 mm respectively, Jafarabad and Jalin Gorgan with 100 and 91 mm respectively, Zarin Gol Aliabadketol with 100 and Farsian and Kiaram Galikesh with 75 mm.
