Real's protest against Vinicius Jr.'s four-session ban, their Brazilian star, was not accepted.
According to Ambassador Arjan, after the disciplinary committee of the Spanish Football Federation announced on Wednesday that Vinicius Jr. has been banned from accompanying the Galaxy for four games due to his dismissal during Real Madrid's 1-0 victory over Villarreal in the eighth week of the Spanish La Liga, Real Madrid Club protested this ruling.
Now, the Spanish newspaper "AS" published in Madrid reports that the appeal of the Real Madrid club regarding the four-session suspension of Vinny Jr. has been rejected by the appeal committee of the Spanish Football Federation, and this Brazilian star cannot accompany the team led by Jose Mourinho in the four games ahead of the Galaxy.
In that game, 26-year-old Vinicius managed to score in the 71st minute of the game, but the referee, Cesar Sotogrado, after reviewing the scene by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technique, dismissed the goal because of his unsportsmanlike behavior that pulled the hair of one of the opposing players before scoring a goal, and this referee's decision was accompanied by a strong and aggressive protest from the Brazilian star.
According to the ruling of the Disciplinary Committee of the Spanish Football Federation, Vinicius was suspended for two sessions due to violent behavior (pulling Villarreal player Nathan Saliba's hair) and two sessions due to aggressive behavior towards the referee.
In this way, Vinny Jr., who has not been able to reach his true form this season and scored only one goal in 10 games for Real Madrid, will miss the games against Sevilla, Leipzig (European Champions League), Real Madrid and Racing Santander.
