The arrival of the Semnan prosecutor delayed the completion of the non-level intersection project of Imam Hassan square, the center of Semnan province

The General and Revolutionary Prosecutor of Semnan Province, in an intrusive visit to the non-level intersection project of Imam Hassan Square (PBUH), emphasized on accelerating the completion of this construction project and ordered immediate follow-up, presentation of a specific schedule and continuous reporting to the Semnan Prosecutor's Office.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan of Semnan Province, Mohammad Taghi Goli, the General and Revolutionary Prosecutor of Semnan Province, in an intrusive and uncoordinated visit to the construction project of the non-level intersection of Imam Hassan (AS) Square in Semnan, while conducting a field survey of the project implementation process and listening to the report of the officials, emphasized the need to remove existing obstacles and accelerate the completion and operation of this project.

In this visit, which was also attended by the deputy of public law of the General and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office of the provincial capital, the latest physical progress status, technical issues, implementation schedule and problems facing the completion of the project were reviewed. Also, by inviting the General Director of Roads and Urban Development of Semnan Province and the Mayor of Semnan, it was emphasized the need to coordinate the responsible agencies to determine the tasks of the obstacles and complete this urban plan.

Pointing to the necessity of protecting public rights and the accountability of executive bodies to the demands of citizens, Goli said: Construction projects that are implemented using public and public funds should be put into operation within the framework of a specific schedule and in compliance with technical and quality requirements, and delays in their implementation should not lead to the violation of people's rights.

He added: Delays in the completion of urban projects, in addition to increasing implementation costs and imposing a double financial burden, can create problems in the field of traffic, safety and quality of life of citizens. Therefore, the responsible institutions should identify the existing obstacles and take action to solve them with effective interaction and coordination.

Emphasizing the supervisory role of the judicial system in pursuing public demands, the prosecutor of the center of Semnan Province stated: As the public prosecutor, the prosecutor's office seriously follows the implementation of plans related to public rights, and in this direction, the responsible institutions are expected to provide detailed and documented reports, the progress of the work and the measures taken to solve the problems in a transparent manner.

Following this visit, an immediate follow-up order was issued to complete the non-level intersection project of Imam Hasan Square. Based on the decision, it was decided that the General Administration of Roads and Urban Development of Semnan Province and Semnan Municipality should provide a detailed schedule for the completion of the project and send the report of the progress of the executive operations to the General Prosecutor's Office of the provincial capital. It was also emphasized to hold coordination meetings between related institutions to investigate and remove implementation obstacles.

In the end, Goli warned: If in the process of implementing this project, there is an unjustified omission or delay on the part of the relevant authorities, the issue will be pursued within the framework of the laws and regulations, and the judicial system of the province will not fail to fulfill its legal duty to protect the rights of the public and the treasury.
