The Deputy Minister of Policy and Management of the Ministry of Economy announced the removal of obstacles and unnecessary regulations in the process of foreign investment: by modifying the processes, foreign investors can convert the currency imported into the country into Rials in an agreed process.

Morteza Zamaniyan, Deputy Policy and Management of the Ministry of Economy, referring to the dissatisfactions in the process of foreign investment, stated: One of the problems that was solved with the cooperation of the colleagues of the Investment Organization of Iran and the Deregulation Board was the issue of foreign investment in the country. An issue that has become more important due to the country's need for foreign resources.

He added: One of the main problems was that foreign investors were required to go through a process similar to the process of clearing the foreign exchange obligation of exporters in order to transfer currency into the country. While the origin of this currency was completely foreign and was provided by foreign investors themselves. This issue had caused dissatisfaction and it was necessary to make the investment process with a simpler mechanism.

Zamanian continued: After examining the issues, a number of redundant regulations and requirements in this area were removed, and now foreign investors can convert the currency imported for investment into Rials in an agreed process.

He emphasized: The obstacles that existed in the past in this field and caused the dissatisfaction of foreign investors have been removed with the reforms.

Zamanian pointed out: This action is one of the approvals and reforms that have been carried out in the interaction between the Economic Deputy of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance and the Investment Organization, and its purpose is to facilitate the entry of foreign capital into the country.
