Unprecedented trip by FBI director to Russia
An American media outlet reported on Wednesday that FBI Director Kash Patel has arrived in Russia for a two-day visit.
According to Ambassador Arjan's report, MSNO reported, quoting informed sources, that the head of the FBI, Kash Patel, has arrived in Russia to conduct negotiations.
The American outlet added that it would likely be a two-day trip, with Patel visiting Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Given that the FBI focuses on law enforcement within the United States, this is an unusual trip and the first by an FBI director to Russia since 2013.
This trip was done while the US President Donald Trump had a conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and announced an agreement in the field of energy.
Trump continued to criticize Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and demanded a change in the country's leadership.
