Olivia Rodrigo and Chappelle Rowan appear on vintage game shows in the vintage music video for the "Expectations" remix, featuring musician David Byrne and producer Dan Negro.

Directed by Berdia Zinali, the clip features Rodrigo and Rowan (in his feature film debut) appearing in scenes clearly inspired by "Family Feud" and "Hollywood Squares." Byrne appears as "Great Expectations" host Johnny Johnson, where he asks the three Roderigos in various costumes, "How did you get here?" What follows is a trip to different sets and a new "Expectations" verse from Rowan, who appears in the scene of "Sister Squabble" to compete with Rodrigo in a "Family Feud." "I took her to the front row of the concert, I thought it was fun," she sings. "His hand goes up my skirt, he won't poke his tongue / He said he'd call me later, that was three weeks ago / Classic L.A. behavior, he could just say no." Popular in Variety

Nigro, who produced Expectations along with Rowan and Rodrigo's albums, appears at the end as he grabs a giant brick of a phone in the 1990s. His appearance makes sense, as he produced the song and its original album, "You Look Too Sad for a Girl in Love."

Beyond Negro's partnership as producer, Rodrigo and Rowan go back many years, supporting the former on both the "Sour" and "Guts" tours. Roan recently performed at Rodrigo's Daisy Chain Fields Festival in late August as part of a one-woman line-up that featured Ducchi, Rachel Chinoriri, Garbage, Breeders and more.
