Hamedan- The mayor of Hamedan stressed the need to use the cultural, tourism and economic capacities of the International Theater Festival for children and teenagers in order to promote local businesses and attract tourists.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan Seyed Masoud Hosseini, in the coordination meeting of the 31st International Children and Youth Theater Festival on Wednesday morning, he pointed out the importance of the participation of executive bodies, economic activists and guilds in holding this event as productively as possible and stated: Experience has shown that when people with common motivation and concern come together, great steps are taken, while limiting things to administrative frameworks reduces the quality and effectiveness of work.

The mayor of Hamadan considered the attraction of the festival beyond the main performances and stated: This event can be a suitable platform for the implementation of side programs with the aim of increasing the presence of families and children and creating excitement in the city.

Hosseini announced plans to implement various projects and said: holding a book fair, a children's and toy fair, a food festival, offering products related to children and teenagers, participating in sports teams, setting up special tourism tours for children, producing urban advertising teasers and using the capacity of well-known figures are among the programs that can be pursued in this period.

He also emphasized on the development of tourism tours and the optimal use of accommodation centers and historical places in Hamedan and noted: The goal of the city management is that the children's and youth theater festival is not just a cultural event, but it becomes a great opportunity for economic prosperity, attracting tourists and strengthening the synergy between the cultural and economic sectors of the city.
