NHL players and Olympic gold medalists Brady and Matthew Tkachuk discuss the honor of representing the United States in sports. They reflect on their Olympic hockey wins and advise the current US World Cup soccer team.

The Tkachuk brothers have already shown what they can do on the world stage, but now, Mathieu and Brady have the ability to surprise most of the league.

After helping Team USA win Olympic gold earlier this year, Brady was traded to his brother's Florida Panthers, who won the Stanley Cup in two seasons before the Carolina Hurricanes took home the hardware last season.

When the move was made, hockey fans knew it mattered when the brothers made magic together.

In just his seventh game of the season, Brady had a hat trick Tuesday night, each of his goals coming from Mathieu, who had two more assists on the night. Brady also had an assist, giving Brothers nine points in Florida's 7-3 win over the Columbus Blue Cats.

All of Brady's goals came in 8:03 minutes of ice time in the second period.

Brady Tkachuk became the ninth Panthers player with three goals in a season. He also had four points in the second as the brothers became the third and fourth Florida players with a four-point run.

Brady became the first player in NHL history to have a hat trick in which each goal was assisted by his brother, and the first since Daniel Sedin had an assist from his brother Henrik in 2015.

The Tkachuks teamed up for the first time at the 4 Nations Face Off in 2025, where each brother faced Canada in the first three seconds of their game. Since the 2014 Sochi Olympics, this was the first time that international hockey was played in a best-of-the-best format.

Canada won that tournament in an overtime gold-medal game, but the United States got the ultimate revenge in February, taking home its first gold medal since 1980.
