A Busy Week for the National Team Coach / Esteghlal, Sepahan, Gol Gohar: Ghalenoei and Old Memories

The national team coach will attend stadiums to watch two matches from Week 9 of the Iran Pro League. The matches involve three teams that have played a major role in shaping much of his coaching career.

According to "Varzesh Se", Amir Ghalenoui is going to watch the match between Shams Azar Qazvin and Sepahan closely on Sunday and will be present at the stadium a day later to watch the match between Esteghlal and Gol Gohar. These two games will undoubtedly pit Qalenoui against his three former teams.

Esteghlal is considered the most important part of Qalenoui's coaching career. He led the Blues to the Premier League championship three times and won two FA Cup championships with this team. With these honors, Ghalenoui became one of the most successful head coaches in the history of Esteghlal and his name is still associated with the championships of this club.

The head coach of the national team also had brilliant days in Sepahan and made Zardposhan Isfahani the Premier League champion for two consecutive seasons. The championships of the 9th and 10th leagues made Qalanewi the first coach in the history of the Premier League who won championships with two different clubs and established his position as the most proud head coach of these competitions.

Watching the match between Esteghlal and Golgohar, however, has a different mood for Qalanewi. Golgehar was his last club team before returning to the national team, and this coach transformed Sirjan's representative from a mid-table team to one of the contenders for Iranian football. Now he has to watch the match between the two teams from the stands, which were the last and most important stops of his club career.

This game will undoubtedly bring back the memories of Golgohar and Esteghlal confrontations for Qalenoui. During Farhad Majidi's presence on the bench of the Blues, the matches were accompanied by tension, refereeing protests and many sidelines, and the competition between the two head coaches had turned into one of the most attractive duels at that stage of the league.
