Legal expert Donna Rotono analyzes Nick Reiner's probable cause in the murder case of his parents, Rob and Michelle Reiner, and explains the low legal standard required for the case to go to trial. Rotonno also discusses the defense's strategy to dismiss the charges against the man accused of fatally shooting NHL star Johnny Gaudreau and his brother, a complex matter involving plasma versus whole blood tests.
Billy Crystal talks about how a devastating year changed his relationship with God.
During an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, the 78-year-old comedian talked about how the loss of his old Pacific home in the January 2025 wildfires and the death of his close friend Rob Reiner had a big impact on his faith.
Crystal was asked if she talked to God after the painful loss. The actor referenced his previous show, "700 Sundays," in which he described his conversations with God, before giving a serious answer.

"No, because I don't trust him," Crystal said.
He added: "Many bad things have happened." "Earth is in bad shape. It's a strange and scary time. So no, not anymore."
Crystal's old home was destroyed in the Palisade fire after he and his wife, Janice, had lived there for 46 years. The couple raised their children and grandchildren in the home, which Crystal described as a "magical place."
In her speech, Crystal recalled visiting the remains of her home weeks after the disaster.

"When we were finally able to return to our home in the Palisades, where I lived for 46 years, like thousands of you, our home looked like this now," Crystal said before a photo of the aftermath of the Palisades fire was shown on screen.
I stepped on the ground and fell to my knees and cried. I haven't cried like that since I was 15 and I was told that my father had just died. I remember looking in the mirror with my whole life waiting for me and thinking, "What would my life be like without him?"
"And now people, I'm 76 years old, with no mirrors and less life to think about, 'What would my life be like without our house?'" asks Crystal.
The loss inspired Crystal's new Broadway show, "860," named after the home's street address. This production recreates her home office on stage and explores her family, career, memories and grief.

"860" also reflects on the loss of Rainer, who was killed along with his wife, Michelle, in December 2025. Crystal said she and Rainer were at a holiday party the night before they died.

"We said goodbye," Krystal recalled. "And then... what?!?"
Despite these tragedies, Crystal said humor has helped her move forward.
Asked how she finds humor in the darkest moments, she said, "That's what I do." "It's a healer."
Crystal said performing "860" has already helped her process the loss of her home and friends.
"I suffered the greatest pains that people could not bear, the loss of their homes, their dearest friends," he said. "And I'm fine."
