Planting 250 saplings next to the entrance of Chilat border in Dehlran

Ilam - Head of Natural Resources and Watershed Department of Dehlran city said: In order to develop green space and combat desertification, 250 saplings were planted next to the entrance of Chilat border road in Dehlran city.

Jalil Farhadi said in a conversation with Mehr reporter: This action was carried out with the participation and cooperation of the Department of Natural Resources and Watershed Management of Dehlran and the Zagros Green Association, and the cost of preparing this number of seedlings was personally accepted and provided by the Zagros Green Association.

The head of the Natural Resources Department added: In addition to the staff of the Natural Resources and Watershed Management Department, the head and staff of the Department of Nomadic Affairs of Dehlran also participated in the implementation of this environmental plan, and four members of the Zagros Green Association from Khuzestan province were actively present.

He said: Due to its special climatic conditions, the Chilat border region needs special attention in the field of natural resources and the implementation of desertification projects, and the implementation of such popular and intersectoral projects plays an effective role in improving the environmental condition of the region.
