Qazvin - The cultural deputy of Qazvin Province's General Department of Endowments and Charitable Affairs announced the development of a plan to organize funeral gatherings in Bekaa Motbareke.
Maisham Abbaspour said in an interview with Mehr reporter: "Baka'a Mutbarka and Imamzadegan, due to their spiritual position and their role in promoting the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (AS), should host a ceremony commensurate with the sanctity and dignity of these places." Therefore, the organization of funeral and mourning gatherings in these centers has been placed on the agenda of the cultural and social deputy of Awqaf of the province.
He added: In the implementation of this program, in addition to respecting the mourners and observing the traditional customs of the people, the necessity of adapting the content of the ceremony to religious teachings and preserving the sanctity of the blessed space is emphasized.
The cultural deputy of Qazvin Province General Administration of Endowments and Charitable Affairs said: the manner of performing ceremonies, the way of using audio equipment, tools and instruments used in assemblies, the content of eulogies and how to hold mourning programs will be reviewed and managed in order to prevent actions that contradict the spiritual dignity of these places and the authentic culture of Islamic mourning.
Abbaspour said the purpose of this action is to create a coordinated procedure in the management of funeral gatherings, to improve the quality of religious programs and to prevent behaviors that are contrary to religious customs and rules, and added: In addition to the pilgrimage function, the blessed places have an important capacity to strengthen the Quranic culture, promote the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and remind religious teachings.
Emphasizing the responsibility of the board of trustees, executive directors and trustees of the holy mosque in the implementation of this program, he clarified: these groups must comply with the notified rules and monitor the process of holding the ceremony, and prevent the implementation of programs that are contrary to Islamic affairs and the spiritual position of Imamzadegan.
The cultural deputy of Qazvin Endowments emphasized: organizing funeral gatherings does not mean preventing the holding of these ceremonies or ignoring the traditional traditions of the people, but the goal is to honor the deceased and sympathize with the survivors, while holding the gatherings in an atmosphere appropriate to the sanctity of these places and emphasizing concepts such as patience, Islamic consolation, resurrection, and religious education.
Abbaspour expressed his hope that with the support of the Board of Trustees, Bekaa administrators, eulogists, speakers and the families of mourners, the ground for holding gatherings appropriate to the spiritual status of the blessed Bekaa and Imamzadegan in Qazvin province will be provided.
