Khazaei: Strengthening Defensive Deterrence Should Be a Priority

The representative of the people of Varamin, Pishva and Gharchak in Parliament stressed strengthening offensive and defensive deterrence, supporting the Resistance Front, improving the livelihoods of armed forces personnel, and compliance with the Leader.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan Ali Khazaei, in the second special meeting of the Islamic Council in order to hear the plans and records of the proposed Minister of Defense and Support of the Armed Forces, Mehrdad Akhli, he said: "I will put forward some main points as demands from the proposed Minister of Defense of the Islamic Republic, Mr. Akhli must act in this field." 1. Complete obedience to the supreme authority of the province, 2. The threat of the enemy in the practical dimension at a higher level than what the enemy threatens, 3. Effective deterrence at a higher level than the recent holy defense in offensive and defensive dimensions, 4. Adherence to "Ali al-Asul" in the slogan and in all situations ahead.

He further explained: 5. Support the resistance front in all fields, 6. A revolutionary, regretful and deterrent approach to any foreign enemy, 7. Strengthening the defense power of the great nation of Iran in real, cyber and artificial intelligence fields, 8. Livelihood of armed forces, 9. Changing the status of employees under orders in the Ministry of Defense and other departments, 10. The issue of the welfare of fighters and their families at all levels of the armed forces, including the Revolutionary Guards, the police force, the Islamic Republic Army, the Ministry of Defense, Basij and all Islamic fighters is another part of our expectations from the proposed minister.

A member of the education, research and technology commission of the parliament emphasized the issue of the constant and effective communication between the minister of defense and the Islamic council.
