Ambassador of Arjan - Provinces Group - Islam Azarmi Giglo:

The 7th national conference "Beh" with the slogan "a fragrance in the color of fall and spring of Givi" was held in Givi city, the center of Kausar city, with a large and impressive attendance. More than five thousand city residents, travelers and provincial and local officials participated in this event and created a lively atmosphere.

The main goal of this national conference was to introduce the special capacities of tourism and agriculture in the region, to make "Be" a well-known brand, to attract the attention of investors and to create social vitality. It was organized by the governor, Givi municipality and related executive institutions. This event was held while Kausar region has long been considered one of the hubs of "Ba" production in the northwest of the country due to its favorable climatic conditions and fertile soil, and its product is in high demand in domestic markets due to its excellent taste, aroma and quality.

Abbas Rasoolpour, the mayor of Givi, stated in a conversation with Mehr reporter: "Ba" is not just a fruit; Agricultural birth certificate is Kausar. We entered the headquarters of the city's ceremonies with the cooperation of all the institutions to organize a program in honor of the knowledgeable and understanding people of this region and the name of Givi. The strategic position of this product in the agricultural production portfolio of the city and the unparalleled horticulture capabilities of the region made us to implement this event in the best possible way.

All kinds of organic products

He added: During this period, sixty booths were set up with artists and producers from various provinces. In addition to offering a variety of organic products, a part of the native culture, rituals and abilities of dear Iran was also displayed. This space provided a suitable platform for attracting investors.

Rasoolpour stated: One of the most important achievements of this festival is creating a direct connection between producers and consumers. Our gardeners used to sell their products through many intermediaries, but now with the establishment of these stands, both they get more profit and customers get to know the real quality of the product. We are planning to add an international section to the festival in the next years to provide opportunities for export.

Production of "to" and preservation of the identity and culture of the region

Hasan Bahrizadeh, the central district head of Kausar city, referring to the rural capacities of this department in the production of "beh" and preserving the identity and culture of the region, announced a fivefold increase in the production of this product compared to last year, and considered it a great ability for the economic transformation of villages.

He announced the introduction of the capacities of the villages of the region in this conference and said: supporting the villagers is a basic priority in the region. If we can complete the chain of production, packaging, processing and export in this region, sustainable employment will be created for rural youth and their migration to big cities will be prevented.

Bahrizadeh continued: This year, with the cooperation of the Agricultural Jihad, several training courses were held for gardeners, the result of which was a significant improvement in the quality of the product. We are also consulting with private sector investors to build a "Ba" processing plant in the city. This factory can produce various products such as jam, lavash, vinegar, sweat and even cosmetic products.

He pointed out: One of the constant problems of gardeners is the lack of price stability in the market. By creating local cooperatives and branding, we can set a fair price for the product and avoid losses for farmers. Fortunately, the reception of these plans by the villagers has been very good and we hope that by the end of the year, the first "Ba" specialized cooperative will be activated in the region.

Zahra Ahmadi, a gardener from the surrounding villages of Givi, said about the quality of this year's crop: Our crop this fall is much better than previous years. Timely rains and better handling have made the fruits bigger and tastier. Our booths have become more diverse this year and customers come from far away cities.

He added: I was able to sell my product at a better price than the traditional market this year. The festival gave me the opportunity to communicate with buyers without intermediaries. I even received some orders from neighboring provinces, which I am going to send after the festival. It was a very valuable experience for me.

Reza Karimi, a tourist from Tehran, said about the motivation of his attendance: To be honest, I heard the praise of this festival on social networks. I was inspired by the images of "beh" gardens and the traditional atmosphere of the pavilions. Here, the people are hospitable and the products are of high quality. I will definitely come next year and recommend to my friends.

He continued: What impressed me the most was the intimate and cultural atmosphere of the festival. It was not just about buying and selling; We got to know the local music, traditional foods and indigenous rituals of the region. This combination of culture and economy is a model that should be implemented in many cities of the country. As a tourist, I feel like I've been invited to a real party instead of a trade show.

Samira Mousavi, a handicraft artist, said about the reception of the visitors: "It was very good." In addition to selling products, we were able to introduce our native art to visitors. The presence of provincial officials also shows that they care about this sector. I hope the support will continue so that we can expand the production.

He added: "Unfortunately, our handicrafts are still not as well known as they should be." Such festivals are a great opportunity to introduce the handmade art of women in the region. This year, I was able to communicate with several online stores and I was supposed to offer my products online.

Bahrizadeh also stated about the future plans to support the villagers: We intend to strengthen the packaging and branding of the "Ba" product by creating local cooperatives. Also, technical training will be provided to gardeners to increase the quality and quantity of production. Our goal is for the villages of the region to become export hubs.

Ali Nowrozi, one of the old residents of Givi who has attended the first editions of this festival, said about its changes: I remember the first edition that was held, there were only a few small booths and most of the residents of the same city came. But now you see, we have guests from other provinces. This means that Givi's name and "be" are known in the country. I come every year and see it grow every time. This year, the atmosphere of the festival was much more orderly and lively than before, and my children had a lot of fun.

He added: In my opinion, the biggest achievement of this event is to create pride and hope in the hearts of local people. When you see that your product is so valuable that they hold a national festival for it, your motivation to stay and work increases. I hope the authorities keep their promises and improve the tourism infrastructure of the region.

Nowrozi noted: We have seen a significant increase in passengers in these few years, but unfortunately, accommodation infrastructure, roads and amenities have not been developed in accordance with this growth. If the provincial officials pay attention to this issue, Givi can become one of the main seasonal tourism destinations in the province and generate stable income for the people of the region.

This conference was not just a product exhibition; Rather, it was a link between the culture, tradition and economy of the region. The colorful stalls, from local products to handicrafts, local music and local food, all created a pleasant atmosphere together. While shopping, visitors would get to know the cultural roots of this region.

The establishment of such events can help the sustainable development of tourism and agriculture. Experts believe that if government support and private investment continue, Givi can become a successful model in the resistance economy. The five-fold increase in production is a promising sign that with more detailed planning, a bright future will emerge for gardeners.

On the sidelines of this event, one of the tourism experts said: Product-oriented festivals are the best tools for introducing regional brands. In today's world, agritourism is one of the booming branches of the tourism industry, and regions that can combine the two gain a significant competitive advantage. Givi has a great potential to become a national level agritourism destination with extensive gardens and rich local culture.

In the end, the slogan "a fragrance with the color of fall and spring" resonated; A slogan that promises both autumn harvest and spring prosperity. People left this event with a smile and hope and are looking forward to the next festival.
