First Smart Software for Iran's Catalyst Industry Unveiled
Coinciding with the Manoin National Creative Industries Event in Isfahan, the Iran Catalyst AI (IC AI) smart software was unveiled as the country's first specialized smart software for the catalyst industry.
According to Mehr reporter, during the visit of Hossein Afshin, the vice president for science, technology and knowledge-based economy, to the latest achievements and technological products present at the event of Manween creative industries in Isfahan, the latest achievement of a knowledge-based company based in Sharif University of Technology was introduced and the smart software of this collection was officially unveiled in the Catalyst field.
In this ceremony, Ehsan Ebrahimi, the CEO of Danesh Banyan, pointed out the necessity of developing software tools along with the technical knowledge of catalyst production and said: Today's competition in the catalyst industry is not limited to product production. In addition to selling Catalyst, major international companies also provide performance monitoring services, operational data analysis, and ongoing technical support to consumers. Based on this, the development of IC AI with the aim of creating a native infrastructure for online monitoring of reformers and industrial reactors, checking catalyst performance and supporting technical decision-making of industrial units was put on the agenda.
CEO of Iran Catalyst Company added: One of the distinctive features of this software is the connection of industrial data to specialized laboratory services and intelligent analysis of results, where the results of characterization tests are analyzed and technically interpreted in the software environment. The goal is that the laboratory data does not just end up in a numerical report and can be used to detect trends in performance loss, catalyst deactivation, structural changes, and to decide on further tests and actions.
He also mentioned intelligent selection of laboratory tests, integrated management of services and reports, specialized analysis based on artificial intelligence, technical knowledge management, network of experts and provision of engineering services in a single platform as other features developed in this software and said: We have tried to reduce the distance between the laboratory, expert, catalyst and industrial unit and create an integrated chain from data recording to analysis and technical decision.
Ebrahimi continued: With the anticipated investments, the simultaneous development of the family of catalytic products and software and intelligent infrastructures related to the catalyst industry will be one of the main axes of the policies and prospects of the development of Iran Catalyst in the coming period.
In the continuation of this ceremony, Hossein Afshin, the vice president for science, technology and knowledge-based economy of the presidency, while signing the commemorative plaque of the unveiling ceremony, said: "The catalyst industry is one of the advanced industries of the country, and the development of such software can, as a complementary tool, play a role in increasing the accuracy and speed of monitoring the performance of industrial catalysts."
