Zaitsev Hands Persepolis a Trump Card in the Asani Case! | Meisaghi Reveals Document on Esteghlal's Sweet Night + Photo

The controversial case of Yaser Asani and Esteghlal, opened after complaints from the Blues' rivals, has entered a new phase with the publication of an important letter.

The controversial case of Yaser Asani and Esteghlal, which was opened by the complaint of the blue-clad rivals, has now entered new dimensions with the publication of an important letter.

According to Ambassador Arjan, the case of Yaser Asani and Esteghlal has entered a new stage. In a situation where the return of this Albanian winger to the blue team, due to the claim of termination of his contract at the beginning of the season and the closure of Esteghlal's transfer window, has been accompanied by protests and doubts of the rivals, now Mohammad Hossein Mishaghi has published the text of a letter on his television program, which, according to the player's lawyer, indicates the immediate termination of his contract with Esteghlal due to non-payment of financial demands.

However, publishing the text of the letter alone does not mean clarifying all aspects of this case. The main question still remains: Is the termination of the easy contract registered in the relevant official authority and can it be invoked in terms of Iranian football regulations, or can Esteghlal still invoke the previous contract of this player?

According to the letter published by Misaghi, Yuriy Zaitsev, the lawyer of Yasser Asani, in a correspondence dated July 14, 2026 (23 July 1405), has provided a description of the process of claiming the player's back wages. According to the story, Asani had given Esteghlal several times to pay his demands before deciding to terminate the contract.

In this letter, it is stated that after the initial 15-day deadline was granted and it remained fruitless, other deadlines were also given to the club. According to Asani's lawyer, the player's contract was extended in good faith and following negotiations, first until June 22 and then until June 24 so that Esteghlal has more time to fulfill its financial obligations.

Despite this, according to Zaitsev, Asani agreed to return to Iran and resume his training despite the club's continued financial problems. Of course, with the condition that Esteghlal fulfills its financial obligations by July 7.

The player's lawyer has claimed that even after the end of this deadline, Asa continued to practice in good faith and went to the club office to receive the promised demands, but no payment was made.

The important part of the published letter goes back to the events of July 14. The day that, according to Asani's lawyer, the last opportunity for Esteghlal to pay the demands of this player ended.

Zaitsev wrote in this letter that a meeting was planned for July 13 with the aim of paying the amount of the player's demands, but the club canceled it at the last moment. Also, Asani's representative went to the club's office the next day, and the player himself participated in a conversation with Esteghlal's executive director via video call.

According to this story, the executive director of the club (Saeed Fatahi) announced that the money was not ready and asked the player's representative to come the next day. Asani's lawyer also emphasized that this conversation was video recorded and rejected the allegation of defects in the power of attorney of the player's representative.

Finally, Zaitsev has announced that the deadline for payment of claims has expired at 18:00 on July 14, and due to the non-fulfillment of financial obligations, he has terminated his employment contract with immediate effect.

In the final part of the letter, the player's lawyer emphasized that the possible payment of claims after a valid termination does not necessarily mean that the termination is invalidated or the contract automatically returns to its previous state. This section is an easy lawyer's legal argument and does not replace the competent authority's review of the validity and effects of termination in this case.

With the publication of this letter, there is no discussion about the existence of the termination text. The more important issue is its official and legal status. Esteghlal has previously emphasized the position that the termination of the easy contract has not been registered in the Football League organization and therefore the previous contract of this player is still valid.

This difference is important because the transfer window of Esteghlal is closed, and an easy return to the blue team, from the eyes of critics and rivals, can be a legal issue. They believe that if the player's previous contract has been terminated, his continued presence in Esteghlal should be reviewed based on his contractual status and valid permits.

On the other hand, the publication of a letter with the date and signature attributed to the player's lawyer does not automatically prove that the termination has been registered in the relevant authority or that all the necessary formalities have been completed to give effect to it.

What emerges from the published text is that Asani's lawyer claimed that the club had several opportunities to pay the demands and finally, the player's contract was terminated on July 14, 2026 with immediate effect.

But in order to determine the assignment of this case, it must be determined to which authority the cancellation letter was sent, whether it was officially registered, and how the status of the easy contract was entered in the official documents of Iranian football.

Until these matters are not clarified, it is neither possible to consider the illegality of Easy's presence in Esteghlal as a certainty based solely on the published letter, nor can all the legal aspects of the matter be considered finished by citing the claim that the termination was not registered.
