Tabriz Is Iran's Productivity Hub: Majlis Education Committee Chair

Majlis Education and Research Committee Chair said that one-third of the 8% economic growth target in the Seventh Development Plan, about 2.8 percentage points, must come from productivity. He added that East Azerbaijan, with its large industries, capable private sector and production capacity, can play a key role in reaching this goal, and that Tabriz is Iran's productivity hub.

Referring to the goal of 8% economic growth in the 7th Development Plan, the head of the Education and Research Commission of the Parliament said: one third of this growth, equivalent to about 2.8 percentage points, must be provided from the place of productivity, and East Azerbaijan, with its large industries, powerful private sector, and production capacities, can play a role in realizing this goal, and Tabriz is Iran's productivity hub.
