In a message published on his personal page, Ebrahimi wrote:
The end of an era... the beginning of nostalgia
Finally, the day has arrived that I have been running away from thinking about for years... the day when I have to hang up my shoes and say goodbye to something that I have lived with for many years of my life; with football
Years passed; Years full of effort, love, friendship, failure, victory, tears and smiles... Years that for me were not just the passing of time, but a part of my youth and life that I left on this grass.
Football was never just a sport for me; It was love, it was identity, it was life. Where I learned to fight to achieve my goal, to get up again after every failure and to continue with all my heart even when I was tired.
Today, when I look back, maybe everything didn't go the way I dreamed it in the first days, but I can say one thing with pride: I lived with love, I fought with all my heart and I never gave up on my dream.
The days when I left the field with a smile, the days when I took home the weight of failure... the friendships that were formed, the memories that will stay in my heart forever, and the moments that only a football player can understand."
"Now it's time to accept that every story has an end; Even a story that you never want to end.
Maybe the sound of the starting whistle won't repeat for me, maybe I won't enter the field wearing a game shirt, but nothing can take away all the memories and love I had for football.
I am grateful to all my managers, coaches, teammates, friends and family who have been by my side during these years. From those who trusted me, fought by my side and did not leave me alone in difficult times. You are part of the most beautiful years of my life.
Today I proudly hang my shoes; Not with the regret of leaving, but with respect for all the years I lived for this love.
Maybe my football career is over, but my memories on this grass will live forever.
And now, after all these years, it's time to say goodbye to the player I was and smile at the man who made me football.
Goodbye green rectangle... Thank you for being a part of my youth. Thank you for all the friendships, experiences, tears and smiles. Thank you for the dream I lived...
