Hamedan-Director General of Performing Arts said: In the 31st Hamedan International Children and Youth Theater Festival, more than ever before, we must have a global view and act internationally.
According to the Mehr reporter, Atabek Naderi expressed his satisfaction at the participation in the planning process of this event at a think-tank meeting with the activists and veterans of the theater of Hamedan province on Tuesday afternoon and stated: From our point of view, the Hamedan International Children and Youth Theater Festival is not just a sectional and calendar event, but a valuable platform for dynamic dialogue and interaction between different parts of the theater that can establish the necessary balance in the theater structure of the country.
Emphasizing that the foundation of every successful play is formed on the basis of empathy and trust, he added: A brilliant performance on stage requires a coherent and coordinated backstage and the actor and director must have a deep bond of trust with each other.
The director general of performing arts emphasized: "Iranian theater should not be dictated from top to bottom, but what opens the way is to strengthen mutual trust and create a real platform for the flourishing of artists' creativity and talents."
Referring to the presence of "Marzieh Broumand" in the secretary position of the 31st Hamedan International Children and Youth Theater Festival, he clarified: the goal of all of us is to move in a complementary direction to elevate the country's theater and in this field no one is superior to the other.
Naderi continued: Ms. Broumand is a cultural trend-setter in every sense, and creating works like "School of Mice" was not just a simple performance or visual work, but created a lasting world that shaped the identity of several generations of children and teenagers in this land.
He emphasized the necessity of transformation in the structures governing the country's theater and said: the field of performing arts needs the definition of a single, coherent and forward-looking management structure, a structure that is not limited to financial resources and budget allocation, and covers the entire chain of theater production to performance, and has the ability to solve the fundamental challenges of this art.
The Director General of Performing Arts stated: Examining the experiences of neighboring countries also shows that having efficient management frameworks and structures is an inevitable necessity.
Emphasizing the expansion of cultural justice and providing equal access to performance spaces, he pointed out: adapting halls for special audiences and the active presence of people with disabilities in artistic activities and events are essential priorities, and continuous and operational communication should be established with artists with disabilities and the necessary conditions for their participation and performance in festivals and public performances should be provided.
Referring to the regional developments and the current conditions of the country, Naderi said: We are not afraid of threats and bellicose atmosphere, and we believe that the capital and credit that Iran's theater has gained in the world arena should be protected and strengthened through targeted planning and active presence in international forums.
In the end, he emphasized: In this period of Hamedan International Children and Youth Theater Festival, more than ever before, we must have a global view and act internationally so that we can all together provide a worthy host for the children of Iran.
