He pointed out: Fortunately, with the implementation of reinforced concrete, the problem of the Azadi 17 seawall and floodgate has been completely solved, and its scheduling will be done within the next day or two.
Referring to the remaining problems, the head of Ilam Municipality said: "Pich Ashouri dam is one of the points that occupy our minds; Unfortunately, in the past years, unauthorized constructions have been carried out adjacent to the river, and despite dredging and cleaning, there is still a serious danger.
He added: civil engineering studies show that 90% of the flood dams in the city are unsafe and this issue requires special attention.
Pointing to the identification of water-flooding points, Noorani-nejad noted: Firemen have identified 38 places in the city that are always flooded, and for these points, forces have been determined to be present before the rain.
Pointing to the problem of sewage in some parts of the city, he added: In several places, including Shahid Beheshti Blvd. Shahid Khorramroudi Blvd., handicrafts on Modares Blvd. and at the end of 24-meter Ashrafi Esfahani Street, as soon as it starts raining, the sewer pipes do not have the necessary capacity.
