Bagheri: Internal disputes should not become pieces of America's cognitive warfare puzzle

Ali Bagheri, Secretary General of the Ahed Party, stated that the US has shifted the field of confrontation with Iran from a military war to a cognitive war, and said: Internal differences and tensions should not proceed in such a way as to inadvertently help complete the puzzle of the enemy's cognitive war and weaken national unity.

Ambassador Arjan-Political Group: Bagheri said about the obvious examples of the enemy's "cognitive war" against the Iranian society at the current stage: after the failure of the American military attack to achieve its goals, as well as the signing and subsequent violation of the Islamabad Memorandum by the Americans, they entered into a complex process of dealing with the issue of Iran; A process that can be considered as having "cognitive warfare" components.

He added: This new round of America's confrontation with Iran is based on several points and axes: first, we are witnessing complexity in the behavior and performance of the other side, whose purpose is to make the atmosphere unpredictable; Continuous and successive changes from diplomacy and negotiation to war, economic pressure, sea and air blockades, and the like, are among the prominent features of this new confrontation.

This political activist stated: Another important component of this confrontation is focusing on the axes of cognitive warfare; That is, trying to disrupt internal cohesion, making the government ineffective, and also trying to exploit the common and real problems in a society that is involved in war and economic siege, to turn these challenges into a platform for shaping social riots and unrest in the fields and streets. These cases can be considered as important components of this period of exposure.

In response to whether the US's combined strategy, including negotiation, threats and mediation, is an attempt to change Iran's calculations or is it only being followed with the aim of testing our reaction, Bagheri said: "I believe that, at the moment and until further notice, there is no serious determination on the part of the American side to come to the negotiating table with the aim of solving the problems between the two countries." This issue can be clearly understood and proven by examining and observing the events of the past one or two months.

The political director general of the Ministry of Interior in the reform government stated: Contrary to what is sometimes advertised outside the country and even by some centers inside, I see the reason for not achieving a lasting peace and a definitive end to the war imposed by the United States on Iran, in the unwillingness and willingness of the American side to reach such an agreement.

He emphasized: The Islamic Republic of Iran, while maintaining full defense readiness to deal with any aggression, has kept the doors of diplomacy and reaching understanding open.

The reformist political activist believes: in this matter, the finger of accusation is really directed at the Americans. They are still trying to pursue the goals they pursued in the war outside the battlefield by launching a wide-scale cognitive war and at the same time putting economic pressure on our country.

Bagheri stated: It seems that as long as the American side looks at the issue like this and continues to pursue its sinister goals in the military war, the interest and desire of the Iranian side to end the war and reach a lasting peace will not come to fruition.

He said: Therefore, this is how I see today's situation and I believe that what should be at the forefront of affairs in the country above all else is moving in the opposite direction of the American conspiracies and plans against Iran.

This political activist added: The strategy to counter the enemy's attempt to destroy national unity in the form of cognitive warfare is to strengthen internal unity and avoid any divisive action.

Bagheri reminded: One of the pillars of the enemy's cognitive warfare is inducing the ineffectiveness of the governance system in order to fuel public dissatisfaction.

He continued: On the contrary, it is necessary to look at the performance of governance with a realistic view; The rule that has had a defensible and successful track record in the face of foreign conspiracies since the beginning of the war. Therefore, while continuing this path, any action that will unintentionally harm the success of this process should be avoided.

The political director general of the Ministry of Interior in the reform government said: These days, we are witnessing that the actions of parliamentarians to monitor the executive performance of the country, which is one of their absolute duties and rights and can definitely lead to the improvement of governance in the country, sometimes end up in actions that, in my opinion, do not help to solve the country's problems.

Bagheri stated: "Definitely, with the attention and entry of parliament members, we can move to improve the country's situation." However, in the conditions of overwhelming and comprehensive pressure from the foreign enemy and while there is even the shadow of a military war over the country, this action does not help to solve the problems. My request is that the representatives, while using their legal rights to improve the situation, also pay attention to the current situation.

Bagheri continued: While if we look at it fairly, even if we ask people's opinions and opinions, people who have many problems in their daily lives, I doubt that they will have such a view of the executive branch, a government that has been able to manage the society in an acceptable manner in the last year and a half, when the country was involved in a war.

He reminded: In my opinion, it is necessary for the political forces and officials of the country, while being alert to the dimensions of cognitive warfare, to shape their political behavior in such a way as to neutralize this complex war.

The political director general of the Ministry of Interior in the reform government said about the increase in military readiness and its connection with the improvement of Iran's bargaining power: "It is definitely the case." Undoubtedly, the components of Iran's power in facing the enemy are based on several foundations, one of the most important of which is military power.

Bagheri added: If this aspect of power is weakened, or if the country's military power does not exist at a high level that has been able to protect the country from the enemy's bite, maybe the situation of our country and people today would be an unfortunate situation.

He said: Strengthening military power improves the country's deterrence against foreign threats and guarantees the protection of security and territorial integrity. This ability will definitely be a strong barrier against hostile intentions and imaginations of enemies.

The challenges of Iran and the US in the days after the Islamabad agreement not only did not decrease, but also provided the necessary ground for the risky war of the US against the Iranian navy and tactical facilities in the regional environment. Such a process indicates a situation where the United States uses "parallel diplomacy and conflict" in relation to Iran and in every historical era tries to put signs of "deception diplomacy" and "surprise action" on the agenda.

The departure of American strategic bombers from Farford is justified by the claim of providing security, while Washington previously claimed to destroy Iran's military power; An obvious contradiction that calls into question both the alleged authority of the US military and Trump's narrative about Iran's power.
