The deputy secretary of the Russian Security Council warned about the establishment of American military infrastructure in Afghanistan and said that this is a threat to all countries in the region.

According to Ambassador Arjan, "Alexander Vendiktoff" said: America does not hide its plans to return military infrastructure to Afghanistan.

He emphasized that the possible deployment of American military infrastructure in Afghanistan will be a direct threat to all countries in the region.

This Russian official said: "Dialogue with Kabul in the field of security is also considered from the point of view of preventing the return of extra-regional forces to this country. Our interaction with Afghanistan has various dimensions. These interactions are fully in line with Russia's national interests, both in terms of security and in the framework of efforts to create a unified, peaceful and stable environment in Eurasia."

The deputy secretary of the Russian Security Council noted that Russia is not the only country that cooperates with Kabul and said: "Almost all countries in the region interact directly with the current Afghan authorities."

Vendiktov stated: "Within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the issue of resuming interaction with Afghanistan through the former contact group of this organization is being considered. The contacts with the current Afghan authorities have various dimensions and these relations are being developed, including through the ministries of foreign affairs, the governments of the two countries and business circles.

The deputy secretary of the Russian Security Council pointed out that a bilateral working group has been formed to expand commercial and economic cooperation between Moscow and Kabul, and said: Economic interaction with Kabul is also important from the perspective of implementing transportation and energy projects in the region.
